Constant apologizing is a side effect of emotional abuse so don’t be a dick about someone who does that
There’s no shame in being afraid. Hell, we’re all afraid. What you gotta do is figure out what you’re afraid of because when you put a face on it, you can beat it. Better yet, you can use it.
One Tree Hill (via clarkegriffinblake)
Most people are stronger than they know. They just forget to believe in it sometimes.
- Keith (ONE TREE HILL)
If you’re always looking for reasons not to be with somebody, then you’ll always find them. At some point, you should let go and give your heart what it deserves.

It’s when you face the hardest things in life with will & hard work, that you learn the most.

“Sometimes, it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. That feeling is a lie.”
- Lucas Scott (via whatfandomsbelieve)
One Tree Hill Quote
“There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroads; afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments will define us for the rest of our days. Of course, when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back. But once in a while people push onto something better. Something found just beyond the pain of going it alone, and just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in, or to give someone a second chance. Something beyond the quiet persistence of a dream. Because it’s only when you’re tested that you discover who you truly are. And it’s only when you’re tested that you discover who you can be. The person you want to be does exist, somewhere on the other side of hard work, faith and belief. And beyond the heartache and fear of what lies ahead.”

We’re always waiting for our lives to begin, figuring we’ll be someone else someday. But what are we waiting for? All we have is now.
One Tree Hill (via storiesaremirrors)
I feel like people get lost when they think of happiness as a destination, we’re always thinking that someday we’ll be happy. That we’ll get that car, or that job, or that person in our lives that will fix everything. But happiness is a mood, and it’s a condition, not a destination. It’s like being tired or hungry, it’s not permanent. It comes and goes but that’s okay. I feel like if people thought of it that way, they’d find happiness more often.

You know, I’ve got this theory. There are two kinds of people in the world. There are lyric people, and music people. You know, the lyrics people tend to be analytical. You know, all about the meaning of the song. They’re the ones you see with the CD insert out, like, 5 minutes after buying it, pouring over the lyrics, interpreting the hell out of everything. Um, then there’s the music people, like Brooke, who could care less for the lyrics, as long as it’s just got like a good beat and you could dance to it. I don’t know, sometimes it might be easier to be a music girl, and not a lyric girl, but since I’m not, let me just say this. Sometimes, things find you when you need them to find you, I believe that. And for me, it’s usually song lyrics.”
— Peyton Sawyer, One Tree Hill
