So a friend wants to go see Mandalorian and Grogu this week. The theater by their place does $7 Tuesdays, which yeah, I'm down for that.

Not with him though. He's been super unreliable for having money to pay for stuff for over a year now. Normally, I wouldn't sweat $7, but I had shocks put on Olivia, paid the bills for the month, and got rent due in a week on top of gas being over $4.30/gallon where I live.

If I even go this week, it's with me using the free ticket I've been saving on Fandango.

But how do you say "hey, I don't trust you to tell me you need someone to cover your ticket until we are at the counter" and follow it up with "that situation gives me anxiety like you wouldn't believe because the last thing I want is to be in an awkward situation in front of strangers."

Now do I care if this hurts his feelings? Not really. He lost that on the part where he said he'd pay me back for an escape room we did with some friends and he's yet to do so. Yes, the venmo request is active. Yes, he's aware of it.

So I may end up going alone.
