Adeline cares about the lore and knowing all the relationships Kitana has with other characters. I'm glad to know she made sure to give meaning in her looks where there was no dialogue.

Hopefully in the 3rd we get to have more insight into her story along with Liu kang.

Some pretty big Liu Kang x Sonya crumbs in this movie, even if they didn't intend on that (we'll likely still get Liutana and CageBlade).

Sonya even calls Liu Kang the best fighter they have. Plus, them fighting Shao Kahn together near the end.

After the empathetic response scene, there are only two times we see Eve show any sort of fear toward Ares.

This time, when he demonstrates a total disregard for personal space and she backs up a smidge before squaring herself and giving him this line, which ends up being turned into an inside joke later. Then later when he grabs her arm and starts pulling her away from Dillinger because the clock is ticking.

That's it. Everything else is just trust building and acting completely at ease with other. Even when he admits to hacking her and reading all her texts, she takes that in stride. She gets mildly irritated when he hits too close to home with points about her sister, but even that ends in a positive. They really *don't* have trust issues at all. Considering where they started in the beginning, that's pretty spectacular to watch unfold.
