I just got out of a relationship, or well a few weeks ago. I don’t believe I had ever been truly in love before this. Breaking up with this man was the hardest thing to do, I saw myself being with him for the rest of my life.

And while the first time around was absolutely perfect, he was the perfect lover boy. Flowers every week, princess treatment every day and absolutely a loving safe space. The standards went much higher than I ever thought it could possibly be. The second time sucked so much. I never believed in going back to your ex, if a person becomes your ex it’s for a reason. But I thought, well it’s him and it’s us…

Nothing was the same, at all. I became so unhappy, my skin was horrible, my emotional stability.. well it wasn’t there. and he wasn’t treating me horrible. But he wasn’t treating me either. I had never felt more unneeded. I was unhappy, I felt uneasy.

It was easier to get back together because we knew each other and we both remembered our love for each other. But actually being together again sucked.

Now, while I am sad and sometimes I miss him, I also miss me and I need to find me and make me happy.
