my dysphoria is innate. I would be dysphoric no matter how much I was accepted. this is true for many people. its disrespectful to us to pretend our suffering is just a product of society and us being told we're not performing gender correctly because that is getting Dangerously close to the idea that trans men are just gnc women and trans women are just gnc men.

Ok, so I work for a third-party seller on Amazon and EVERY SINGLE THING we sell on Amazon is available on our own website for like, half the price. Amazon fees are so exorbitant and since shipping is “free” we have to add that cost to every product as well. On our own website, we don’t have the fees and can manage our own shipping tiers, so the deals are so much better. Always, always, always check and see if the thing you want to available directly from the seller. We don’t like giving all our money to Amazon either.

I was six when this happened. Apartheid in South Africa ended in 1994, when I was 14. I’m not even 40 yet.  This is WELL within Millenial lifetimes. Does it feel like forever ago because of the speed of technology? yes. Was it forever ago. Hell, no.

This was the year Chernobyl happened. That was far more recent than we like to think, too.

1986 was the year Challenger happened.

It was the year Studio Ghibli got their first film out.

Americanized movie timestamps, this was the year Top Gun came out. Tom Cruise is still acting. This was the year Star Trek: The One With The Whales came out. We’re still quoting it.

This shit is a lot more recent than it feels.
