A basic idea. There's an order of knights that employs fairies, humans, and giants. One day a common threat (Laconia [Romanist education comes in handy again]) is attacking all of the villages.
So the Commander of the Knights sends a human to protect the Fairy village, a giant to protect the human village, and a fairy to defend the giant village.
Thus helping unite the three people against the rising threat.
If you want to read what I have so far before I write and record my final draft this Friday.
The Order of Shield: An order of knights that employs species, and races of all kinds only with the idea of defense. Descendants from the order that was formed by monsters. 3 Villagers approach the order for help. First is an emissary from the human village of Hett, they mention that there are a lot of bandits that were bold enough to strike into the village proper. Normally the local militia would handle it however the bandits have a magician with them who makes them vanish easily and often times uses tricks to distract the villagers. (Stage magician).
Next there is an emissary from a village of giants. (Ur) She's the matriarch of the village and her villagers keep disappearing into the night. So she seeks the Order of the Shields assistance. They agree to assist her.
Finally a diplomat of a fairy village of the Court of Summer. Humans have been capturing fairies and they're too scared to go out. The knights promise to help.
Next the grand Knight Commander Decuma assigns the knights to the villages. First she calls upon one of the first knights of the order. Azam the Mighty. Decuma explains her orders to him. He agrees and walks away.
Next the knight that is called in is one of the most accomplished knights of the order, one who is the vassal of a dozen kings. Haf Silverstone a 7 inch tall fairy of the Winter Court. She's given sealed orders and she leaves the room. Finally the last knight to approach is Eclipse, a human knight who served loyally who the Grand Knight Commander Decuma would trust with any mission. Giving Eclipse a mission in a sealed missive guiding them.
Azam arrived in the village of humans. After explaining the situation to the mayor he helped guard the village that night. When the bandits came Azam shook the Earth by striking the ground with his shepherd's crook. Causing the bandits to fall and the magician to drop their tricks. Next he picked up the humans placing them in trees. That day Azam convinced them to return all of the stolen items. No deaths but the bandits are scared not aware that Azam had never killed anyone in his entire life.
In the village of the giants, Haf eventually speaks with the Matriarch of the giants. She's convinced at first that the knight is actually invisible but eventually notices the very small fairy. The matriarch is extremely reluctant to accept Haf's assistance but agrees when she hears that Haf has a plan. That night a song floats through the town. A Laconia Mage was using an enchanted flute to compel the giants to follow her command. Haf follows carefully, too small to be noticed. When she finds the other giants bound in chains to the mountains. The Mage attempting to capture giants to make into helots for Laconia. Haf used her blade to free the giants first. But the Laconia Mage used the flute but Haf used the opportunity to stab her poisoned sword into the Mage's throat killing her. The giants are free and the giants promise some of their land to Haf. To help protect them from Laconia.
The human sent to the fairy village has a hard time finding it. But eventually they ask the leaves to guide them to the Summer Court. The leaves and the distant Howl of the Black Moon leads Eclipse to the village. Speaking to the Prince of the Fairy village he warns Eclipse that humans were capturing them. Eclipse listens and then plans. That day they wait for the humans. A set of trappers carrying a Lambda symbol and iron cages. Eclipse tricks the humans into a trap. They only agree to let the humans out if they release the fairies, after all the fairies are released and fly away Eclipse let's down a ladder and disappears behind a tree. The trappers attempt to run to the village of the fairies. But they fall into an even deeper trap. One where they cannot escape because Eclipse won't let them out. The prince of the fairies awards Eclipse with a kiss (silver coin) and his hand. A marriage du blanc representing an alliance between the prince and Eclipse.
It is revealed that it wasn't a mix up. That Decuma, (which means the one who measures the present) knew it had to be this way for the villages to be closer against Laconia. A vile rising empire that seeks to rule over

When a cat approaches you with their tail high and erect like that it means they like you and are happy to see you. I just thought it was cute we were seeing lots of evidence of kitty happiness and the kitty really likes whoever was behind the camera
You know, it just occurred to me how the high-tail is a sign of a happy cat that trusts you. Domestic cats are ambush predators, as well as potential prey - they rely on not being seen to catch prey, it’s why you see them duck down real low and hold very still right before they’re about to pounce on something. Cats are born to camouflage into the environment and spring on their target before the target can escape the radius of their pointy ends. As prey for larger predators (like dogs, raptors, etc.), staying low, still, and hidden can save their lives.
What does a tail standing up on approach usually mean? It’s a greeting. The cat is sticking up a big ol’ flag into the air and waving it around going “HEY! HELLO FRIEND, I AM HERE! I AM COMING TO SAY HELLO!”
TL;DR- Cats sticking up tails in greeting is like kitty semaphore for ‘I LOVE YOU AND I’M GOING TO REVEAL MY LOCATION TO SHOW TRUST’ and it’s adorable
So our village hasn’t had water for over 14 days now. Israel usually turns on our water lines every ten days, but have skipped the last scheduled water opening.
As a result, many people’s wells are running out while we’re in the middle of a massive heat wave.
Homes her are built with large water reserves, either in the form of big plastic tubs on top of the house, or underwater wells. These reserves are filled on the days Israel allows us water (although it’s limited and these reserves aren’t always filled all the way) and when they run out…. You’re completely out of water. No toilets, no showers, no drinking water, etc.
To compound the issue, on the hottest days Israeli settlers turn their ACs up creating a massive spike in electricity demand. To compensate, our electricity is shut off.
So we’re in the middle of a heat wave with no water, little electricity, and severely limited movement, facing intimidation campaigns by Israeli soldiers and settlers, and yet we continue to be “in the wrong” for fighting to change this half-life.
Today marks the 15th day without water due to Israeli restrictions.

As you’ll see in the article, it’s not even caused by any remote scarcity of water, but simply because Israeli chooses to deprive Palestinians of basic water needs while allowing Israeli settlers to fill their swimming pools and consume on average three times more water per capita than Palestinians.
Palestinians on average consume 73 liters per day, with the World Health Organization standard is at least 100 liters, while Israeli settlers - the people who receive all our water when Israel cuts it off to us - consume on average 369 liters per day per capita.

Back when we lived in my grandma’s house, on the days the water and electricity were cut, we’d do just that for showers..and the WORST part was having to share the water with the others in the house, and when you have a big family…..you would decide to just forgo “showering” if you didn’t get to go first or second, because the idea of using that water was just disgusting x_x.
Also what I hated about using our old beir [well] was that it wasn’t the most tightly sealed one, and so when we’d resort to using it…the water had a very discernible taste to it that just made your entire body squirm as you wondered what it was giving it that taste.
Bringing this back to give people a sliver of what life is like under Israeli occupation.
We were without water for 17 days. Exact dates are in the notes but I’ve already lost them myself, but this took place in July of 2017.
It was not the last time we were without water for such a long stretch, nor was it the first. Israel uses it’s absolute control over Palestinian resources as a means of keeping us “in check” and as a form of collective punishment.

it keeps me from holding down a full-time job. i just had to move so im closer to my college, and going back to school is going to be a scary transition for me in terms of expenses and exhaustion. right now im worrying about rent and food, since my ebt card just got canceled for absolutely no fucking reason. now i just got news that dentical (tooth insurance for poor ppl) doesnt cover my crown of my broken molar. i’ve already had to pay 200 dollars to get numbed (for whatever fucking reason????) in past visits and this is pushing me way over the edge.
