#the only thing that's ever worked for me timekeeping wise #is when i set all the clocks in my apartment and my phone slight variations of five-ten minutes fast #(my clocks are never set all the same so they needed to be different for this to work)#and then. critically. LEFT HOME FOR THREE WEEKS (visiting family) AND FORGOT I DID IT #i did for about a month fool myself into being more on time!#....and then i caught on to the plot #it did help that all the clocks in my family home are also fast and different from each other #because my parents (+ me&my sister as teenagers) play this trick on each other semi regularly. works a little better when it's someone else #also important is when you notice you announce you're putting the clocks right (whether or not you actually do so varies)#i did grow up in a house constantly playing mind games with each other in an attempt to project Normalcy #yes i assure you i am very Normal.#chatter

not asking the submitter to dox themself but this looks almost identical to the leucistic black billed magpie I saw on iNat a couple days ago in Edmonton AB (and you can find it near the top in the Amazing Aberrants project). Id actually wager this isn't a crow because of the tail (length and shape) unless there are crows out there with longer tails. the whiter parts on the flank and side of the wing is where you'd expect to see it on a black billed magpie too, and on the wings where they're folded by the tail :) either way, even if it's a crow, super cool find!
