And for some reason, weâve all just accepted that, yeah, sheâs Edna Mode, she would know these things, sheâs just like that.
But what if weâve all been missing something right in front of us?
We know Edna has affiliations with the government agency and has obviously been making suits for decades. Do you think the government is just going to get a random fashion designer to make these suits? Absolutely not.
Theyâre going to get a Super.
What if Edna is a Super with the power of future-vision?Â
Thatâs how she knows exactly what suit to make, thatâs how she knows that the kids are going to be in danger, thatâs how sheâs so aware of everything going on around her and catches everyone off guard.

What if sheâs more like Garnet? She sees the possible futures and can usually pick out the most likely ones. Edna doesnât see what will happen, she sees what could happen. Who would have ever thought that a cape could cause so much destruction? Itâs highly unlikely, and therefore, those possibilities never even had a chance in her mind. Sheâs probably kept some sort of contact with the Parr family, and through tidbits of info was able to piece together each childâs powers, needs, and gives them the best she can.
OR the Supers with capes have been rude or whatever to her so she was like "fuck you I'm giving you a cape"
