the mean-lesbian-ification of yosano is annoying for a lot of reasons, but one thing about it that always gets me is that yosano, in canon, is so kind, and she chooses to be kind despite everything she's been through. and her kindness is part of her strength.
Ever since making that post talking about mermaid aus for Date Everything I can't stop thinking about other au possibilities. This is the greatest part about "new" fandoms, you can literally make anything. It's also the worst part about it, nothing's been made yet 😔
One of the au possibilities I can't stop thinking about is a medieval au. It can include all of the datables for a variety of different fics!
The reader/player would be the monarch/king/queen/ruler of the kingdom and castle and the datables would be the staff/townsfolk. I have a few ideas of who will have what roles but they can be easily changed around.

I lile tachigin in a "tachihara had a crush on gin thinking she was a guy and had a sexuality crisis over it" and then he found out she was a girl and repeated the process again.
Kyouka needs a rival (not narratively, just for fun). Like, there's Chuuya & Dazai and Akutagawa & Atsushi, it's basically family tradition at that point.
Kyouka already has dark hair and a stoic personality, so basically she just needed her bright haired rival/partner with a too powerful ability that they sometimes lose control of. And then I was like. Kenji's right there.
They're not rivals per se, but it fits the dynamics going on here. Imagine Demon Snow and Undefeated By the Rain working together. They'd be scary af, and they don't have the weird tension between them that SKK and SSKK have, so they'd grow more powerful together far quicker and exceed their predecessors.
Honestly, I'm a sucker for Kenji and Kyouka interactions.
(Bonus for the family tradition, Gin's partner could be Tachihara or Higuchi but honestly I feel Tachihara works better. Not sure about losing control of his ability but it's not like Higuchi has one to begin with lmao)
P.S. I know Mori & Fukuzawa were the OG double black or whatever, but I couldn't make an argument for Fukuzawa losing control over his ability.
Some things I’ve noticed on my second viewing of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (2023)
(Some of these are obvious, don’t @ me, I’m autistic and I had work the day I first watched the film so my brain was all over the place)
Once again, SPOILERS ARE UNDER THE CUT, PLEASE DONT READ IF YOU ARE AVOIDING SPOILERS!!!!
On my first viewing I thought that showing the security guard at the very start loosening the bolts of the chair straps was a fake out to make us believe he’d escape, but actually he loosened the bolts which is how Mike was able to escape later on
Just want to say that the opening credits are fucking cool and I love them so much
In my previous post about things in the FNAF movie, I incorrectly said there was no Golden Freddy - Golden Freddy is in fact in the film, he’s the one who goes to the house/kills Aunt Jane/is in the taxi
Following on from the above point, I said last time that I thought the cupcake was the fifth ghost child but I actually think it’s Golden Freddy to be honest - the blonde girl was obviously Chica, the boy with the bunny ears was Bonnie, the ginger boy was Foxy, and then there was the blonde boy and another boy with a top hat on. I originally thought that the blonde boy who wore the brown shirt was Freddy because he seemed like the leader, but now I’m wondering if the boy with the top hat was Freddy and the leader boy was in fact Golden Freddy (given his blonde hair)? I’m interested to hear what everyone else thinks
This is obvious but the doctor foreshadowed the ending because she told Mike that drawings are powerful tools for children to express things and understand things, and that’s exactly how Abby communicated to the gang at the end that Afton was responsible for their deaths
^side note but as an early years practitioner at a nursery/for preschool children, it’s actually true that pictures are used to help children learn things even before they can read, write or talk. I don’t know, it just interested me to be like “oh yeah that’s true!!”
There was not that much focus on Mike’s dad, like he was seen so briefly compared to his mom, which makes me wonder if there’s something to it that might be revealed in a future film. Like maybe his “dad” isn’t his dad or something? Because in the game canon, William is his father, so… I don’t know. I also saw someone else point out that in the training video Mike watched, there was a man working on the animatronics who maybe looked like the actor playing Mike’s dad, so maybe his dad worked there with the animatronics?
The film appears to be set in 2000; I’m 90% sure the security cam of Mike in the careers office showed the date as being in 2000, but if someone else can clarify or confirm the exact date then that would be great. It would make sense though because Garret presumably went missing around the same time as the ghost kids (in the 80s), so the film being set in the present day (meaning Mike would be in his 50s) would make zero sense. Also the mobile phones/computers all seem like they come from the early 2000s
Someone on Twitter pointed out that one of Abby’s drawings on her wall appeared to be a red airplane, which could just be an indication/foreshadowing of her knowledge of Garret’s disappearance (his toy airplane) but also someone else said it could have been 9/11 which….?!?! If this film is set in 2000, then that’s FUCKED
(I think it’s either a random drawing or to do with Garret’s toy tbh but the idea of her having foresight of 9/11 is fucking horrifying)
I’m still not totally sure which animatronic the gang were going to force Abby into, like it’s one with spring locks and at first I thought it might be Circus Baby but it doesn’t really look like her. It looks almost like a marionette or something? And I mean, yeah, it could be that they changed the design a bit but they literally stayed faithful to the designs of all the animatronics in the series so… you know.
Desperate to know if Matthew Lillard is aware of the fact that his DILF status has been multiplied by one hundred after this film like can someone check in on him and see if he’s alright? 💀 the FNAF girlies fans are frankly RABID about Afton
On that note, I wonder if Josh Hutcherson or Matthew Lillard have ever played any FNAF games, like were they fans before being cast or…? I really wish we could have content of them talking about the film or promoting it, but Hollywood refuses to pay their actors fairly so 🤷♀️
Listen, I ADORE both Josh and Matthew anyway but in this film I feel like Matthew especially stood out??? Maybe it’s just the character he’s playing but he ATE this role up (so did Josh but still)
I feel like the springlock scene was actually more terrifying upon a second viewing like at my first one I was like “that’s not as bad as I imagined” but this time I was like “holy shit he’s in agony” like his screams were PAINFUL to listen to
Speaking of painful to listen to, Freddy gave this really guttural and pained roar/scream at one point during the ending and it really made my heart hurt, it’s like the child inside of him was reliving the memory of their murder or something??? I can’t describe it but it was such an intense moment
I honest to god feel like I enjoyed it more on a second viewing and I don’t know why??? Maybe it’s just because the other people in my cinema weren’t laughing every five minutes but still.
I now have the urge to rewatch ALL of Markiplier’s playthroughs of ALL the FNAF games so… yep!
Once again begging for people to talk about FNAF because I’m not the most knowledgable on the series but I do enjoy it!
Watching the scene where Abby hides from Foxy in the arcade reminded me of the beginning scene in The Silver Eyes where Charlie does the same thing, which made me think Abby was the Movie Alternative of Charlie.
And the doll thing could be Ella, an animatronic doll Charlie had, who in the Original Trilogy was mentioned to be "fueled" by Henry's agony after Charlie was killed.
I don't believe all the game lore to be one to one obviously but I liked seeing the stand-ins. Abby to Charlie Emily, Vanessa to Elizabeth Afton, Mike feels like a mix of Game!Mike (but instead of being an Afton he's an Emily?) and Charlie (protag stuff lol - I think they got matching arm wounds but I don't remember). And that would make Garett more like Sammy (Charlie's twin who she believes was "taken" by Afton before finding out she was killed by Afton and was a robot stand-in made by Henry) since he's heard of but not ever really seen, he was just a name tacked onto Charlie's motive like Garett is to Mike.
Also, Aunt Jane's death reminded me a lot of Aunt Jen's death in the Fourth Closet. Also-also, their names match, and they were characterised pretty similarly.
You’re an enchanted suit of armor, completely hollow on the inside. After gaining sentience, you left your haunted keep & began to adventure. As you gain notoriety across the land, making friends & connections, it gets harder to keep it a secret that there’s nothing behind your visor.
Worst thing about hazbin hotel and helluva boss is we all have like one friend or mutual or acquaintance who loves it and you gotta be kinda nice about it while the show is just begging to be ripped to fucking shreds for how awful it is
Hey, so, in light of the “Peaceful AU” trend in the DSMP!Gacha community, I’d like to pose that c!Dream’s plans stemmed from c!George somehow. Whether you interpret this as a romantic thing or not is up to you, however I personally don’t believe their characters are dating. (I much prefer the unrequited angst, chose your side my friends ;))
It’s mentioned by c!Quackity that “if George had showed up” to the presidential debate/elections, he wouldn’t have had to team up with c!Schlatt and assuming that’s true then c!Quackity wouldn’t have endured a fair bit of physical/emotional abuse that is the stem of c!Quackity’s Las Nevadas Arc.
Also, I presume c!Dream wouldn’t have had c!Tommy exiled if he’d burnt down any other person’s house. (I’m unsure if Dream chose this punishment for Tommy, or George did as it was his house burning down. I think this depends on how much of a bad person people chose to make Dream, whatever fits their story.)
c!George isn’t present for the Final Battle, and spends the rest of his time with Dream XD now that c!Dream isn’t there to entertain him. (“him” being either George or Dream XD that’s for you to decide.) And for a demon/God, it’s strange for XD to be so doting over c!George when he’s pretty amused by the suffering of others.
I feel like George is sort of behind the plans, or at least the motivations c!Dream’s plans. Perhaps it’s a favour deal like c!Dream had with c!Technoblade. Maybe they’re just “forbidden lovers”. Maybe c!George has blackmail on c!Dream?
Why did c!George never visit c!Dream in prison when he had the opportunity? Why didn’t he respond to the prison alarm when c!Techno broke c!Dream out? George’s character hasn’t really been al that fleshed out for an almost 2 year long series and I think the possibilities are interesting.
So.... if the L’manberg Independence wars was based off of the American Revolution (because of Wilbur’s obligatory Hamilton the musical reference) then I assume that the main setting for the timeline to be the 1700s (18th century).
in Tales from the SMP, it’s been estimated that the Masquerade takes place some time after 1857 due to the vintage of the wine in Sir Billiam's mansion. Canonically, the Wild West takes place around the same time. So, technically, these two stories take place after the present timeline.
This doesn’t make sense regarding the Egg lore, however. Unless we consider simply that an ancestor of Techno’s got corrupted by the Egg at some point. As for the mansion, I assume Billiam restored the mansion he kept the Egg as the mansion Skeppy and Bad found was broken down.
So Timeline wise it’d be like:
The Village that Went Mad
1962-1963
Based off of the Salem Witch Trials
L’Manberg Revolution
1765-1784
Based off of the American Revolution
The Haunted Mansion
1765-1784
Canonically takes places a few months after Jschlatt’s death.
The Town that Never Was
It’s apparently parallel to present timeline (1765-1784)
Based off of the upload ((December 26, 2020)) it takes place between Technoblade’s Execution and the Green Festival
Either the characters are supposed to be different people, or it’s a parallel universe completely.
The Beach Episode
Also parallel to present time (1765-1784)
Uploaded on January 9th 2021 - just before Wilbur’s first (and failed) resurrection attempt by Philza and Eret
Debatably canon, could be a parallel universe altogether since Karl had God-mode (creative) there.
The Masquerade
Sometime after 1857
Uploaded first, so I assume it takes place before TWW (the difference could just be a few months).
The Wild West
Canonically takes place at the same time as the Masquerade (after 1857)
Uploaded second, so I assume it takes place after TM (the difference could just be a few months).
The Pit
Very steampunk themed - could take place anywhere between 1837 to1914
Since its confirmed future, and follows the eye-wear rule, I assume closer to the 1900s.
So, if Foolish was once the God of Death, and Kristin is our *hypothetical, not yet confirmed* current Goddess of Death, would they have some sort of beef with each other?
Would Foolish dislike Kristin for taking his role/throne/birthright/title? Or would he be thankful for her taking over his role in his absence?
Would Kristin like Foolish or think him too immature for his power? Seeing as Foolish is a young God and lost his title as “God of Death” after the whole Village that went Mad thing. -> I’m not entirely sure what happened, but from what I’ve gathered (via Ponk’s lore) Foolish messed up and his powers somehow corrupted Jack and Bob hence the massacre of an entire town (as “death” was his thing).
It’d be nice to see how Gods work better in their world. How a God(dess?) like Prime can exist and be worshipped (despite not being a proper character) amongst people like Foolish and DreamXD who’ve shown to really be Godlike. How someone with a God complex like Dream would fare against an actual God.
TL;DR I headcanon Kristin and Foolish have beef with each other because they have the same title.
