Photocards I did for SaveOurSeouls, a deviantART-based rp community about idols!

I was supposed to make all four cards but I got sick and couldn’t make it on time. I only managed to finish my character D.JINNI (left) and Donghwa (right). Thankfully, my friend Li offered her help. The finished cards are here.

Since I don’t have tight deadlines to chase anymore, I’ll resume on finishing commissions. Thank you everyone for your patience!

3. Show us your oldest piece of art you have on hand.

Drawn back in year 200X. All I could say is that I was a 7-year-old with a bizarre imagination. 

24. Do you have a shameful art past? (recolour sprite comics, tracing art, etc.)

Somebody got a hair dye and I won’t tell why.

How long does it take you to draw?

It depends.

Doodles take up to five to fifteen minutes depending on complexity and references. For full-colored sketches, I take an hour and a half at most. For serious art, it varies a lot. It depends on how much I’m willing to spend hours over my creations.

4. What defines your artistic style?

I’m not really sure how to answer this so I’ll answer this from how I understood the question. I think my art is defined through my use of colors because I tend to make them more colorful (if fanart) than the actual color scheme and how they all manifest the 3/4 face to the left/right syndrome the design elements I put in? And also, the facial structures of the characters I draw. I’m not quite sure if my art really leaves an impression as of right now and I admit that I still have many rooms for improvements!

5. Do you practice other styles/have you tried other styles in the past?

Hahaha I did! I mostly take after artists I watched on deviantART and notably, SR and yoon! Here are some of my attempts back from ~2013?

I also tried to emulate Tite Kubo’s (Bleach) style back in 2011(???) LOL but we’ll not talk about it ( ͡ʘ╭͜ʖ╮͡ʘ)...

22. List at least one of your “artspirations.”

Artspirations! Hmmm, I get inspiration from fellow artists, music and anything amusing I observe in my immediate environment. Also, those display mannequins at the boutiques haha aren’t they all gorgeous... 

If I have to make a specific list of artists though I think it would be Cymphonia and Memipong most of the time. For music, it’s... Taylor Swift ♥ (My queen, hahaha)
