More lil doods of my LoF Rook, Anaia Laidir. idk I can't stop thinking about what her relationship would have been like with the DA2 gang growing up.

Like Isabella pawning her off on Varric after royally fucking up a job, or waking up Anders after hearing a cat yowling outside of the clinic and insisting he heal it.

I'm also really proud of the horn covers I designed so she could sleep on a pillow without demolishing it every night lol Anders doesn't pay her for helping, she can't afford to keep gutting her bedding.

What happened to Felassan at the end of the Masked Empire? We know that when a mage is killed in the fade, they're made tranquil. So.... was he really killed or just made tranquil?

If the Dalles are overrun with the Blight and Orlais is overrun with Venatori, Orlais only secure ally is Nevarra. Would Celene send Briala and Felassan to Nevarra for shelter from the revolt? Could Briala be working some sort of angle with the Mourn Watchers? If Gaspard was a man who thought that the ends justify the means, could he have had something to do with the Venatori overthrowing the Winter Palace?

And Vorgoth! No one knows what Vorgoth is, but some folks have considered that he may be a Scaled One. Would, uh.. love to have anything to do with those guys.

Maybe Cole's joined Cassandra in her efforts to reverse tranquility, since he could possibly help? Does Cole have any important information regarding the chantry/mage tower in Orlais? Could Cassandra have unfinished business with her family in Nevarra? Could she be an unwilling participant of some stupid political maneuver?

And then there's Emmrich, who's perfect the way he is :)

I been doodling my newest Rook while I'm dealing with medical bs.

I'd started out with an elven Mourn Watcher Rook, who was super easy to flesh out considering she almost literally lived under a rock the majority of her life. But my Lord of Fortune Rook? Wowie, she'd been super involved with pre-existing DA characters, there's sooo much to explore with her backstory. Closer looks under the cut <3

Calls herself Anaia Laidir, her chosen name, because it sounds badass (pronounced annihilator) and also so her birth family can't find her as easy.

Was possibly the buffest child the Kirkwall gang had ever seen lol

Nickname is Rook for when the gang likes to tease her for being the rookie of the team.

A mage who has a lot of complicated feelings about magic, so she sells herself as a rogue specializing in explosives (the explosives are duds, she's just a highly combustible magic user). Fingers are black from magic bombs that went off a bit too early lol

Bottom right image is of First Enchanter/Grand Seer Rivella of the Rivaini Circle, who was like a grand tama to Rook. She'd have killed Isabela if she ever found out about the tongue piercing.
