My newest one-sided beef is with an Italian professor who either doesn't realize how much he's overselling a paper or does know and is just straight up lying about the results to benefit his startup. And I have to be polite to him because he's roped my friend into being an advisor. And also because I'd like to sell my consulting services to help him fix his shit and not commit academic fraud (if he's not lying on purpose). And he will still not capitalize sentences or use punctuation besides ellipses.
