Kole grinned at the other camper and then looked at the hand on his chest, puzzled. He reached to pat at the extra limb and then giggled, squirming away from the touch because he was ticklish. “That felt funny!” He calmed down after and offered a sweet smile. “I don’t wanna go to bed. It’s lonely.” More than anything, he wanted company and to be happy without having to force it. The alcohol worked wonders for the last bit, but it didn’t really help him with the loneliness. Distantly, he knew he could have just gone to someone, but he didn’t want to be that needy. It wasn’t fair to his friends. “Why no dance?”
“Okay, okay... I won’t put you to bed.” Adrian promised and leaned over the boy. He couldn’t hide the concern written on his face, but he also didn’t want Kole to just snap at him under the influence of alcohol. “I just... Dancing is not my thing. I’m a world renowned gymnast and what I do has nothing to do with dancing.” he explained and took Kole’s hand in his. “But we can take a stroll outside. Get your mind cleared up a bit? Promise I won’t leave your side.”
