What brushes do you use?

These are my staples when I’m not experimenting! I have a few brush packs on Ko-fi

For more harsh lineart, I use my ink and textured ink brush. For something softer I’ll use the pencil in my basics pack and procreate’s default HB. When coloring, my square brush gets me most of the way. After that, it’s about blending (with the smudge/blend tool on “stucco”) and then playing around with blending modes

I do not 😅 I simply can’t focus and don’t have time right now… I tried last year and utterly forgot about it. If I ever participate in the future I will definitely post something though!

That’s very cool that it came through! Even if it’s just in your eyes, that’s really neat! The love for purely ink illustrations (I think) originated not just from comics but also from these little illustrations within novels too

I liked researching all the different techniques and filling sketchbooks with samples like so

Ended up redoing an old image that I sketched back in 2016, and now redone for 2025. It's amazing to see the progress since then, and fun to bring the old images up to my current skills.
