[through clenched teeth] good things can happen in the future. good things are coming
whenever a mutual likes one of my posts I wire them 5 mg of juice reward if they reblog it I wire them 10 mg
I spent like a solid hour to find this post because I couldn't stop thinking about it
Okay so Noelle’s private post about Kris and Susie, yeah that post.
So I see a lot of people theorising that Kris replied back to Susie something like ‘what like you?’ or ‘like your mom?’ or something like that, which is a possibility.
However I saw one person on twitter suggest another possible reply that is even more harrowing in my opinion.
And that was “good.”
I’m actually more inclined to believe that especially because of Susie reaction afterwards.
If what Kris had replied was insulting I think she would just get more angry, but instead, Susie was shocked. Noelle said that her whole demeanour changed and that she backed off quickly , this is important, it indicates that was Kris said disturbed her.
I think that sort of reaction out of Susie would’ve come more from Kris indicating wanting to be gone, or some sort of agreement that their mum would be happy if they did so.
Noelle also mentioned that Susie is head was held low, which of course may just be because she was upset at what Kris said if it was something equally cruel. However, to me it also shows shame,
because she realised that she was picking on someone who already wants to disappear.
This makes way more sense to me now, instead of them remarking "like yours?" (Which is something I've thought of myself tbh)
I've remarked to myself for awhile that I believe the way Kris tears out their heart at the end of both chapters is supposed to be a representation or some type of symbolism about SH.
Like, the way that they do it late at night, then eats an entire pie, then in the bathroom with the sink on and with Toriel and Susie in the other room, and then literally right in front of them while they're sleeping. An increasing risk of being caught feels like a cry for help to me.
And on top of that, Toriel knows that somethings off with Kris but won't take the next step in helping them, and not only her, but alphys and the nurse in the hospital as well have remarked how Kris's behavior is a little more weird than usual, even with their physical appearance.
Also, I have to say, we've been with Kris from the moment they get up, to the moment they go to bed, I don't think we've ever seen them eat a real meal, ever.
Other than the whole pie and the hot chocolate, they don't really eat, I'm not even sure if darkworld food counts as real food because when we go to the light world, it doesn't show up in our inventory, so I would assume whatever we eat in the dark world doesn't count.
And, of course, not having much self preservation when it comes to Susie throwing us around and threatening us.
cringe isnt an insult. if you find me cringe that means i have power over you. im having a fucking blast while youre seething with vitriol at my very existence. whos really winning here
part of why rich people act weird has to be those luxury modern apartments where everything is white. like eventually they probably start experiencing symptoms of sensory deprivation torture and decide to become an influencer or life coach or something

I'm thinking about this post and i have decided that it is one of those things that is a poem in some undefinable way
so mamy people will go up to an it/its user unprompted and go “ugh i hate using those pronouns on people :/ its so… dehumanizing” like okay. but it specifically asked to be called that
maybe this is controversial but refusing to use someones pronouns because said pronouns are slightly out of your comfort zone is infinitely more dehumanizing than a person using it/its for itself

ask polly
if I could ask God anything and get the real, genuine answer, I'd ask him why He commanded Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. He knew He was going to stop him. He knew that He'd never truly ask him to do it. He knew that if he went through with it then His promise would be frustrated.
The thing is... the story has led parents to think it's okay to sacrifice their children, metaphorically and sometimes literally, for a false sense of moral superiority. How many LGBT+ children have been sacrificed in the supposed name of Christianity? How many autistic children? How many orphaned children? How many abused children?
Maybe it was the right lesson for Abraham, especially about how it paralleled Christ's atonement. But it's not a story that has translated well into modern times.
do you want the Jewish answer? It was to challenge him to think critically about commandments from g-d (and translating to religion as an institution, rulings from religious leaders and scripture), and it's a challenge he failed. He was supposed to, theoretically, fight g-d and say "no, by no means am I going to do this. I don't care that you created everything, that is my child and my world, and I'm not going to do it just because you said so."
Instead, Abraham royally screws up, traumatises his son, and in doing so, loses his son, loses g-d's will and favor, and in the Tanakh we never really hear from Abraham again after this point, because he failed.
It's a story about someone blindly following in faith, and losing the most important things to them because they never stopped to think "Wait, did I hear this right? And if I did hear this right, am I so sure that this is something I want to follow?"
Isaac was Abraham's only son at the time, and the child he had fought so hard to have. Him following an order blindly without thinking of the consequences is not supposed to be a good thing (It just kind of benefits the feudal society that eventually embraced Christianity, which is why the understanding was changed in Christian worldviews.)
