Black on Black on Hat
Timeless pieces is what it's all about! This look is styled with two major timeless pieces of mine! My Pepe Jeans skinnies, that I have owned since I'm 22, they have been worn and torn endlessly, but I keep fixing them and putting them back on, I never give up on the good stuff;) And my precious hat was gifted to me by my husband, when we were young(er) and living in Barcelona:) A friend of mine had gotten it, and I had told her how much I loved it, so he decided to surprise me and get the hat! So for a few months in my early twenties, I would wear this hat everywhere and anywhere, and then just got over it and put it in the back of my closet, and never looked back! So in my last trip to Barcelona I decided to search my closet for long lost treasures, and there she was! So now you can find me walking around the cold cold days with this lovely hat and my torn (yet fixed) pepe jeans skinnies...
Fall Style under $100
"Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day" Elizabeth Bowen
My favorite seasons are Autumn and Spring, I don't like extreme heat or extreme cold, and my favorite part about the change in seasons? Getting the essentials in my wardrobe! So let's start with the first essential piece, the coat, outerwear, cape, jacket...! I was browsing around Pinterest (where I find most of my inspirations) and fell in love with this look, I love how chic yet effortless her whole look is, from her hair skin to the garments she has put together. So "manos a la obra" I had to do my very best (and put my inspector gadget's research skills on) to find a similar jacket, and after browsing around the web for what seemed endless hours! I Finally ended up on Sheinside.com, with again endless options, but picked these two to share them with all of you, because well they are gorgeous, the prices are unbelievable, and I'd like to know which one you would pick?
Fall is finally upon us, and while most of us are preparing our wardrobes some of us are also thinking of fun ways to change up our Make Up to welcome this beautiful season! Once again I have teamed up with a professional make up artist Seema Khanna, so she can teach us the best tricks to get a natural smokey eye, tricks for the perfect eye liner, and an instant face lift with make up secrets;) But before we get into all the make up tricks she mentions the most important factor, getting your skin ready with the right toner and face cream! For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you are more than well aware of my profound love and loyalty for skincare brands that work for my sensitive skin, and specifically Murad Skincares! In this video used the Murad Daily cleansing foam, their Balancing Moisturizer SPF15, and their Instant Radiance Eye Cream, which are my favorite products to keep my skin clean, glowing and moisturized this Fall!
Pale Pink Blazer & a Striped Blouse
How many of you have seen pale pink coats, sweaters, and blazers all over fashion magazines, catwalks, Pinterest, etc? I know I have, plenty of times for the past few months, and though I am not the usual one to fall into whatever trend is the hottest, I do have to admit that I love the warmth this quite and romantic color ads to our Fall days:) So the other day before heading to a meeting, I dug into my closet, and found my long forgotten (new, never worn) Bimba & Lola pale pink blazer that I got last in one of my Barcelona trips! Paired it with my white chucks, Maje blue denim trousers, a striped blouse, my beloved Amazona Loewe bag, and my new Stella McCartney sunnies!
Stella Mccartney x Goop have me dreaming again:)
My obsession with Stella McCartney started back in the day when I was a student in London, and fell in love with her white crepe jumpsuit! To me Stella brought the Jumpsuit back! Fast forward to Now, I can occasionally splurge and get her unique pieces that I cherish oh so much. It is no secret that Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella are besties, and these two stylish ladies have come together once again to create magic with their second Stella McCartney x Goop collaboration! Here is the piece that has me daydreaming, envisioning myself strutting around with this long-sleeved chalk-white dress this Fall! If you are looking for the perfect holiday party dress, your search has finally ended! Oh and while we are on this topic, do you see the handbag she is wearing with the dress? That's the Becket Handbag which comes in a few colors! Hey a girl can dream, or ask for a few gifts from Santa;)
Easy Like A Sunday Morning
This Sunday I stared blankly at my closet not knowing what to wear, another one of those "I don't have anything to wear" which I am sure you all are more than familiar with, and couldn't be far from the truth, as my closet has more than enough clothes! While staring at my abundance of clothing, I got this Sunday melancholy feeling, remember when you are in school, and Sundays are the most dreaded days? The weekend is over, and another school week is ahead... The only thing that would cheer me up was without a doubt MUSIC, and I remembered that for those dreaded Sundays, I would play as loud as possible Faith No more's "Easy Like A Sunday Morning"! So that's exactly what I did, I turned up the volume, and it just clicked, what's easy? Black and White of course! I paired my new leather shorts, with a buttoned up white shirt, my Stella McCartney ankle boots, and my Zara bag, and stepped out the door to meet my hubby for some quality time!
Chunky Platforms on a Rainy Day
Missy Elliot sang it loud and clear "I can't stand the rain, against my window..." Remember? (Or maybe Im too old) Im sure Selena Gomez or another singer nowadays has some sort of rain lyrics, but pardon me Im from the era when Missy and Timbaland made me dance on any rainy day (and still do)! So how do I brighten up these dull, grey, rainy days? Easy, I choose to NOT wear rain boots, or umbrellas! Why? Because I refuse to feel or look as crappy as the weather, but that's just my personal view, I dont like rain boots because I feel anything but feminine with them, and umbrellas yes I think they can make an outfit cute, but holding them bothers me, and I always forget them wherever I go (which really annoys my hubby)! How can I not mention that my hair looks freezy cool under the rain:) So I wear my chunky platform Stella McCartney booties, boyfriend denim, a basic white blouse, a black blazer and no umbrella, and I brave the rain:)
Similar boyfriend Jeans in Shopbop, similar blouse by Tibi, similar blazer, stella mccartney boots, stella mccartney in boots in brown, similar boots
I can't stand the rain, against my window..."

Tess Giberson in Saint Louis Fashion Week
Those of you who follow me on Instagram, might've noticed that I was in Saint Louis this past weekend for their Fashion Week. Alive Magazine (who by the way did an amazing job) invited me to attend Fashion Week, alongside other talented bloggers. What to expect when flying out to Saint Louis for Fashion Week right? I did do my research and check out the designers that would be showing, as well as bloggers who would be attending, and seeing the talent that was going to be there I decided to hop on the opportunity! It is always exciting to visit a new location, meet new people, and immerse yourself in it's culture (can you tell I love traveling?) To my delightful surprise, Saks decided to have me co-host their Tess Giberson Fall Presentation event, and have a short Q&A with the talented and sweet Tess Giberson.
There was a moment right before the show, that Tess was giving me tips on how to take control over my stage freight, how cool is that? Tess Giberson giving me her inside professional tips? Somebody pinch me please! It goes without saying that her collection was breath taking, her minimalist aesthetic, structured knits, laid back style, and white on white looks made me feel right at home. It is not every day you get to meet successful artists such as her, and I couldn't consider myself luckier. Take a look at her pieces, now try and tell me that Im not right;)! Is she or isn't she amazing?
My "Kiss/Beso/Bisous" Scarf
I won't lie my closet isn't full of scarves, but with there is a definite abundancy of shoes and bags due to impulse buying, which is why a scarf has to really wow me and be unique. What better way than an eye catching print and soft to the touch silk? When I first heard of Anna Coroneo through a mutual friend in NYC, I was drawn by her international background, Australian with Greek origins, but living between London and New York, sounds like a perfect mix for a creative mind and talented illustrator, and so she is! On her site you can see how much talent this girl has with a varied selection of scarves, home goods, and illustrations! Ever since I got my hands on this Kiss silk scarf, it travels with me wherever I go, and it adds that instant color and fun to my look. A scarf full of Kisses, can you think of a better accessory to welcome Fall? Find it in your favorite colour, check it out on Bloomingdale's.
See you in Saint Louis
Packing my blacks for this weekend's getaway! I will be in Saint Louis as a guest of St.Louis Fashion Week, hosted by Alive Magazine! If you are around you can attend the shows, and enjoy all the talent the city has to offer! I will be hosting the Saks Designer Atrium with Tess Giberson, if you'd like to see her beautiful collection and get styled by her (oh and meet me:) you can get your tickets here! Hope to see you all there...
Comme Par Hasard
Wearing: Prava wedges from Shoedazzle, similar distressed boyfriend jeans
Lately I have been feeling as homesick as a little girl going to her first summer camp, remember that feeling? Where anything and everything reminds you of your parents? When you need that hug from your brother, because someone just made fun of you! I had kinda forgotten how that feels till I went back to Spain last month, and ever since it's been here to stay! But work has been busy, and so has the social life and events in DC, for some reason September has been a month full of events, and I have been running around from one to another, which has also made me realize I need a new iPhone (my current iPhone camera es una "mierda") Just sayin'...
As we are all getting ready to welcome fall, I was browsing around my photos from the last vacation, and had to share this "Comme Par Hasard" look, for a family day at Barceloneta I chose my distressed Zara boyfriend jeans, my Claude Pierlot tee, and my Cool/See through Shoedazzle heels. Simple, and fun! Oh and meet my sunshine and beautiful niece Shiraz.( She stole my sunglasses for the day)
Denim on Denim accessorized with my Tiffany Kunz Jewelry and my Shoedazzle Carven booties!
Wearing: Carven booties, Tiffany Kunz Pallisade stack bracelet, Bold Pallisade necklace , Basal Ring bronze, similar denim shirt by Oasis, similar boyfriend distressed denim
How much denim is too much denim? It's NEVER too much, that's right! Especially when you have such beautiful jewelry pieces to accentuate the look even more so. I found out about Tiffany Kunz browsing around Instagram, and fell head over heels with her designs, inspirations and bold pieces! Ever since I cannot take her jewelry off, I travelled all the way to Spain with them, and literally every other person in the street would stop to ask me where I got my necklace, or the ring:) Who doesn't love wearing pieces that leaves everyone else wondering and in awe? I know I do! All in all this look is to show you how you can take something as simple as a denim on denim look, but transform it to a bit of an edgier and bolder look by highlighted accessory pieces, and cool ready for fall booties! Hope you like this...

Shana Tova ve Metuka to everyone:)! If you don't know it this week we welcomed the Jewish New Year, we are in the year 5774 (way ahead of our time;)! This past month has been eventful not to say the least, and as some of you know (whoever follows my Instagram and got bombarded with my non stop vacation images) I just got back from Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona where my hubby and me vacationed with my family and family;)! (by family I mean we took over the hotel with 15 kids running around the pool with melting ice cream in their hands, so fun;)!
I must admit I did not take too many outfit photos, because frankly I was in my bikini all day every day, and when we got back to Barcelona I was too busy soaking in the city, spending time with my family, eating delicioso food and of course Shopping around Paseo de Gracia:)! This is a look I had to share though, its my comfy summer signature look, with a bit of sexy to it;)
Target's Beauty Concierge aka Your In-Aisle Ally
How many times have you found yourself wandering the Beauty aisle at Target overwhelmed by their selection, and basically clueless as to what skincare fits your complexion to perfection? I know I have endless times (think of the Tasmanian devil twirling around;)! Which is why Target has decided to offer us a hand:)! How you might ask? Simply by adding a Beauty Concierge in many of their store locations, and lucky for me one of their chosen locations is the Columbia Heights store across my home:)! The beauty concierge is there to help you find that eye cream that will work wonders, that perfect lipstick for your skin tone, or that hair care line that you never knew was the miracle your hair has been waiting for! NO he/she is not a make up artist, nor a hair dresser, but a trained professional and beauty passionate, there to help your shopping experience be easier and faster! He/she will advise you on the new trends, and give you insider tips!
What products did I pick out?Umberto's pre shampoo treatment, Ahava body scrub, La Roche sun protection, and Covergirl's pastel nail polish! Oh and usually you will find me at Target in my sweaty gym gear;) But for this occasion I chose a white on white look, blouse by Zara, white denim by Closed, and my favorite heels by Shoedazzle!
Floral Suit y Ole
This year has been full of (great surprises) and one of them has been and is STYLECABLE, my new and exciting Fashion venture! When I was asked to be part of this creative and business savvy team I could not believe it, I am in DC and I can actually work in Fashion?! Look and find emerging designers? Act as a buyer? Produce photo shoots??! WHAT??? "C'est pas possible"!!! Not that DC isn't a great city, but when you move here the last thing you expect is to find a job in fashion (though it did take almost 2 years), it is not NY or LA, and we are all more than aware of that. But it is definitely eye opening to live here and to see how many young, creative and talented people are choosing to create an industry and working hard to bring a creative, and style filled scene to DC. It is admirable to see young people that don't just run to another city where all of this is happening, but actually choose to be active and make it happen for them, their circle of people and for the city!
OK so what does this have to do with my look you might ask? One of my first collaborations with STYLECABLE (before I officially became a part of the team, and got a title and what not) was to style two looks on me myself and I, and be their face for their Facebook ad campaign, not bad hey?! I chose this fresh, floral suit from Zara, with one of my fave Miu Miu heels, and my wedding pearl clutch from Uterque! Oh and What Is STYLECABLE you also might wonder... Take a look at the site, and you will find out;)! Stay tuned for my second look...
And some hair flippin'
How many times have you wondered what to wear in this unbearable city heat and humidity? I know I do almost every day, and if I could I would walk around in a bikini, but we all know that's not happening! So the closest thing to wearing beach wear in the city is this gorgeous cover up by Zinke, the moment I saw this Zoe Dress on their site, I knew I had to own it! I loved taking this beach look into the streets of DC, by styling it with a Noelle Et Filles bag, BCBG purple suede wedges, Giant Lion rings and Zara sunnies. I hope you enjoy this video look, and if you do, go ahead and subscribe to my GoodGoodGorgeous YouTube Channel.
