It's been a while!
I just want to say, I am grateful to Googlystuck for essentially teaching me to use GIMP and Photoshop. I went in not knowing a whole lot and learned things on the fly, and it was a fun experiment that went on for longer than I had expected!
Knowing what I know now, I could have entirely done things more efficiently. I remember editing at a pixel level and trying to get the animation to line up for days. I am now glad to know there are far more efficient and time saving methods.
I am grateful to Homestuck for netting me a short lived but amazing mini fan base, a ton of cool friends, and a good conversation starter at cons, with a 4.13% success rate
This isn't a post to announce a new project or endeavor. I really just wanted to say, if you're feeling like you're passable or okay or good or adjective at something and you are afraid to delve into the unknown, sometimes you learn more during the process than stuck in eternal preparation or analysis paralysis. You've got this! Well, even if you don't, you'll get it. And if you don't get it right away, you'll be closer to getting it than you were before.
I am going to stop talking because this is getting long and I'll risk talking in circles.
Take care of each other.
