So, I was reading Tumblr posts, and I came across many analyzes and arguments in defense of Severus Snape; arguments between those who support James, or the rest of the marauders, and those who defend Snape...
And I just laughed alone because the arguments of those who try to justify the actions of the marauders are so insipid and ineloquent, while those who support Snape expand and practically write a bible in defense of the man, with solid foundations in their arguments, demonstrating how much they know about the subject and what good people they are.
It's like Severus practically has an army of intellectual warriors and cool people who fight with his words and defend him to the death... It's just excellent.

Okay so I wanted to do another drawing for my favorite, “Aim and Ignite”. This time it’s one my favorite details from the story: the charmed picture (because snape is shy about how much he loves his little family) on Sev’s desk of Lily and baby Ariel 🥹.
HERES THE PART WHERE I GET MAD THO. I DID A REALLY DETAILED DRAWING OF LILY HOLDING THE BABY AND YOU COULD SEE SO MUCH, BUT THEN I STUPIDLY DOWN SIZED IT AND THE FREAKING PROGRAM MADE IT ALL PIXILY WHEN I TRIED TO ENLARGE IT AGAIN. so I’m sorry, it’s not as detailed as it was supposed to be 😭. (Please tell me u can still see baby Ariel’s tiny pig tails, that was my favorite part teehee)

I just realized how alike they are and it’s crazy how people love Ramsey and hate Snape when they’re practically twins.
The major differences? Ramsey is rich and considered attractive. Prettyism or Lookism or whatever strikes again. That and classism.

The marauders fandom is so two- faced it makes me sick sometimes.
It's funny. The marauders all ended up having horrible, tragic endings.
And it's literally because of their own horrible actions. Particularly to Severus Snape
James Potter? The first to abuse Severus. The first to die. Because Severus heard the prophecy and told Voldemort.
That led to Sirius Black being sent to Azkaban. And then getting killed later on in the second war. Because Voldemort targeted Harry. Again, because of that prophecy.
Peter Petigrew? Betrayed his friends, because he was the secret keeper. Because of the fucking prophecy. Ended up having to hide for 12 years as a rat, and was killed by his master.
Remus Lupin? Struggled because he was a werewolf. Lost the job at hogwarts because Severus told people he was a werewolf and for good reason because Remus was endangering people. Died in that second war that happened mostly to kill Harry Potter because of that fucking prophecy.
The prophecy that Severus Snape brought to Voldemort.
Severus Snape, who may never have become a death eater if the Marauders hadn't tormented him. Maybe he was naturally inclined to them, perhaps, but the Marauders, who were literally doing the same things as the wannabe death eaters guaranteed he made it there.
They created their own downfall, and dragged Severus with them too.

I love the duality of Snape’s sexuality. In fan interpretations, he’s either a virgin or an absolute slut. And I love him both ways.
I’m wondering about wizard prison culture.
Are the death eaters basically the magic equivalent to being a made guy in the mafia in a muggle prison? Do you think they make shivs, but instead of it being a knife, it’s a make shift wand? Do they try to brew hooch style potions in their toilets? IS THERE A POD DADDY AND IS IT OR IS IT NOT CANONICALLY CORRECT TO ASSUME THAT BELATRIX WAS ONE?!? SOME ONE ANSWER ME.
Remembering that scene between Ron, Hermione, and lavender where the professors are just silently watching the drama unfold got me thinking…
You just know the professors at Hogwarts have seen SO MUCH TEENAGE DRAMA over the years. They were probably making bets and shit and had favorite couples that they were rooting for.Hogwarts dating pool was like their own personal reality dating show.
This idea has me kicking my feet and giggling.
