Falling in love with fictional characters is great because it allows you to see what you really want in a partner. It helps you zoom out and realize if you’ve made too many compromises in your relationship. It’s a reminder that you do deserve a person who is perfect for you, and that love is out there. You don’t need to settle.
Fencing bruises...?
Usually I try to make my imagines apply to everyone, and I know I haven’t been so good on gender, but I’m trying to improve. This one applies to literally no one but me:
I’m a fencer so I get these little bruises from being stabbed all over my body - mostly on my right shoulder, but sometimes they show up on my collar bone and upper thighs. I’m imaging how Damian would react to finding little hickey-like bruises in those sensitive areas. I don’t know if he would be horrified and worried that I’m hurt or just really jealous.
“What happened to you, beloved?”
“I got stabbed while stabbing people.”
Also him supporting me at tournaments! (I had one today that’s why I’m thinking about this. I won’t do me-specific imagines very often I promise. And I’ll take this down soon.)

He looks at you up and down. You’re so close to the wall. So close to him. “You should be afraid of me,” he says, not meeting your eyes. “You deserve better. You deserve someone good. Someone of whom you can be proud.” He looks down.
You put one hand on his chest and the other on his chin, forcing him to look you in the eye. The usual emerald is blurry with tears. “But I am proud of you,” you tell him simply. You close the gap between the two of you for a tender kiss.

He sees what happens to Tim. He will NOT let you be like Tim.
You can struggle all you want, but you know he’s going to get you to a bed one way or another. Eventually he scoops you up like a sack of potatoes.
He’ll tuck you in. He’ll make sure the comforter is fluffy enough and the pillows soft enough for his liking. With a kiss, he’ll leave you to get your rest.

Things everyone should know: Earth Day addition.
-Don’t use plastic straws. Just don’t. They kill turtles and there’s honestly no real use for them.
-Make sure you use a special sunscreen when swimming near a coral reef or other types of fragile ocean biomes, sunscreen has seriously contributed to reef death. On beaches regular sunscreen is... okay.
-DO NOT let me repeat do not eat beef. This is perhaps the most important one. It’s better to drive 60 miles than to eat one burger. It takes 11 times more water to make beef than wheat.
-Make sure your fish is sustainably sourced. It’s so easy, just google the fish. A crap ton of fish in the US especially is illegally caught outside out American waters. Trash is going to outnumber fish in the sea by 2050.
-Buy Patagonia! I know it’s expensive but they’ll fix your stuff for free for life and it’s really good quality. Super good for the environment.
-Shoutout to Cora Balls, which catch all the micro plastics in your washing machine so they don’t go into the ocean.

Okay but imagine Damian Wayne getting jealous after seeing you sing “Love is an open door” with another guy because he’s never seen the movie. Dick and the others see this and make Damian watch it, and he feels a lot better by the movie’s end. Later, he makes sure you catch him singing, “batcows are better than people.”

Imagine Damian Wayne seeing you cry.
After you had run out, there came a knock on the door. You stayed absolutely silent, hoping and praying that he would go away. No such luck. The door creaked open. “Beloved?” He asked. You looked up, showing him your red face and bloodshot eyes, before immediately looking back down. “Who did this to you? Answer and he will regret that he was ever conceived.” You shook your head. Damian studied you for a moment before sliding down the wall next to you. “I trust you will enlighten me as to the matter at hand at a time of your choosing.” You said nothing. He sat there next to you, eventually testing the waters by putting an arm over your shoulder, eventually leading to full-fledged sobbing into his tux. It was a while before he spoke again, “Beloved, I want you to know that I do not think the lesser of you after having seen you cry. In fact, I am flattered that you trust me enough to share such emotion with me.” Your only response was to sob even harder.
Eventually, Damian scooped you up and carried you home, giving you some water and wrapping you in your comforter for a good night’s sleep, leaving a sweet kiss on your forehead before exiting into the night.

Imagine Damian Wayne watching someone else flirt with you.
It was at one of those classic Wayne galas. The boy was so smooth- caramel hair, blue eyes… he kissed your knuckles softly in greeting. At that moment, Damian was unable to leave his conversation with a particularly important and wealthy couple. Each time his eyes wandered to you he clenched his fists, subconsciously taking a subtle fighting stance. A surge of adrenaline shot through his body as you laughed merrily at something the boy said. The boy pulled you to the dance floor and into his chest for a slow waltz, turning the fire in Damian’s eyes into a nuclear explosion.
After what seemed like a millennia, Damian extracted himself from the dull conversation and stalked up to flirty boy, who was now making you weeze with laughter by spinning you to the music. The boy abruptly stopped when he saw Damian’s expression. Damian walked straight up to the boy, towering over him with his full height and muscle mass. In the boy’s ear he whispered one simple word. “Run.”

Imagine Damian Wayne telling you that you’re beautiful, especially when you doubt it.
He literally does not understand how someone as physically perfect as you can be so blind to such an obvious a truth.
“Beloved, flowers weeps as you pass. You do not believe me? Then take me as evidence. I, son of Batman, would not settle for any less than a sheer goddess, which is what you are.”
He shows you his sketchbook filled with drawings of you. If you feel bad about a particular body part, he draws it for you. He won’t stop until he knows you feel 100% confident in yourself.

“I’m sure you, of all people, will be the one to get a perfect score.”
“Damian! Don’t put that kind of pressure on me!”
“If you do not, then there are two possible explanations as to why; firstly, that you spent your time prior to the test engaging in an activity of infinitly more value than the act of studying for this exam, obviously unworthy of your attentions if this is the case. Else, the test is at fault for failing to quantify your true brilliance, aptitude, and knowledge of the subject.”
“What if I’m just... what if I’m just not smart enough? What if I can’t get it? What if everyone else does better than me?”
“Beloved, I will not have you doubting your intelligence. I can practically swim in the depths of your thoughts. I know that if you try your best you will succeed. Besides, test scores do not equate to intelligence. For example, Todd did well on many of his exams.”
“However, if you feel that you need it, I will help you to study. If your teacher failed to prepare you, I will remedy it immediately. If not, I will be at your constant disposal, bringing you any snacks, beverages, pillows, or anything else that you might require. No arguing, I insist, Ya Amar.”
