I can imagine that early on in their relationship Neil and Andrew would get super distracted by each other. Especially during Neil’s sophomore year, because they are safe, happy, and don’t have ridiculous distraction like yakuza and Neil’s imminent death to worry about.

(I mean it’s canon that Neil starts tracking every move Andrew makes after their first kiss, and that he misses a whole movie trying to not openly stare at him.)

The worst is when they are at the gym or exy practice, because duh physical exertion, sweaty hard bodies, straining muscles. Yeah you get the picture.

Anyways examples:

- Neil falls off the treadmill, because he gets distracted by Andrew’s toned af arms and chest while bench pressing.

- A ball nails Andrew in the face mask, because he was busy paying attention to Neil’s ass in tiny shorts instead of Kevin’s shot.

- Neil gets flattened by Aaron during practice. - That day the foxes had divided the court in half for practice. On one side the original foxes plus the new freshmen defensive line were having a mini scrimmage. On the other half the new freshman strikers were taking turns practicing foul shots on Andrew. While he allows a reasonable amount of goals from the striker Neil chose, he absolutely blocks every single shot Jack attempts. Neil had noticed and was enjoying the satisfaction of Jack getting denied every time. Aaron who was the backliner guarding Neil at the moment noticed his increasing distraction and took full advantage. After Aaron body slams Neil into the floor, Andrew retaliates by sending every ball he deflects at Aaron’s head. Eventually Coach has to end practice early before an all out Twinyards war ensues.
