I'm currently witnessing discourse on a blog called 'prideiconsforeveryone' over a character called "Kokichi Ouma", people are telling them that they shouldn't post pride icons for him because he's a Nazi despite there being zero evidence to the fact and someone straight up called the blog runners anti-semites for refuting the anons saying this character is a Nazi, it got so stupid someone said that because the character drinks a fake version of Fanta that they are definitely a Nazi...

Typical Tumblr. They screech about trivial bullshit like this, but ignore legit antisemitism.

To the people complaining Roosterteeth is queerbaiting regarding RWBY

Wake. The. Dust. Up.

This is a show about a bunch of seventeen year olds, a robot, a fifteen year old, and a small number of adults, all of which, live in a war.

Now, I know many of you have not grown up in wars, and honestly, I, as a girl from Israel who grew up with the constant threat of war over her head, envy you.

But I can not and will not let you hares the wonderful staff who are selling the story in a believable way.

Teenagers in war live their lives revolving around survival, around a constant battle to stay positive, to believe they will live to see another day, especially in a world where negativity summons monsters.

Teenagers outside of war? They live their life revolving around drama and crushes, affairs of the heart, because they can afford the time and involvement to do it right.

The RWBY crew, in particular, are a bunch of kids who are working to become fighters, to protect, to survive, to thrive, they’re dedicating their lives to protect and serve.

Why would they be the least bit involved, especially now, that they’re starting to see what the world truly is, in romance and drama? It’s true, they can be teenagers, they can be social, but relationships are just too risky for these kids, friendships are more reliable.

Relationships can leave these kids with weakness, with negativity, these kids are smarter than to leave that font open.

So if you could all lay off the RWBY crew for doing a good job and selling a believable world setting, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Still a bunch of kids in a war. Who just had their friends killed. One of them lost an arm. The other is probably feeling responsible for the loss of said arm.

Stop with the romancing, these are kids in war, they’re sworn to protect the fucking world, and are on a path to destroy the threat.

I seriously doubt any actual romance is on it’s way.
