Hey guys, I have a favor to ask. A very special girl’s life ended too soon a few weeks ago when she drowned. T-minus way too few days left here, and harshly avoiding finishing up a finals paper. 

Its unreal that what was once 40 weeks has been diluted down to 2 weekends and a handful of classes. This semester is much different than last. This semester my friend Justine lives with me in my home stay. It’s been such a treat because theres always someone around who wants so go walk around to different gardens or try new restaurants with me. We’ve been trying to see more places around tuscany, and just do at least something small but really cool every weekend. 

One weekend we went on a weird trip to a place called Ferrara. We checked out the Tuscan towns of Siena with the most beautiful duomo, and Lucca with one of that last surviving and intact city walls around the center. We hiked around Fiesole and went back a second time for her birthday to hang out with friends, play some music, and make a fire in a cave. We rented cars with our friends to road trip down to Bagne di San Fillipo to relax in hot springs. In just the past two months I’ve seen such vast and beautiful things so close to where I came to be for a year and got to see some of the smaller details like I really feel I set out to do in going somewhere for a year.
