However, unebknownst to anyone at that time, the Elf Stones were indeed in the vicinity of the concert venue (Wembley Arena in London), as they had been hidden there many years prior by one of the arena's builders, whose name has been lost to time. Therefore, it is entirely believable that a high elf may believe Ringo to be in posession of the Stones.
