this isnt a vague about anything or anyone in particular (more of a pattern recognition thing), but i think like labeling things as being "not racist" or "not misogynistic", while well intentioned, closes off a dialogue between the work itself, the audience, and the creator(s). like even if you have a work that is devoid of bigotry (which even if its true today, people in the future may view it differently) its still worth examining and having conversations about it. also, i think it like severely limits the scope and reduces the ability for improvement or nuance. alas!

My health is getting worse and my asthma attack this morning proves it. I also have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an ongoing, progressive lung condition that restricts airflow, making it hard to breathe. And I have no way to get to a Lyft to go to urgent care. I'm wheezing and coughing up mucus and blood.

This is serious and I'm afraid my life will be on the line if I can't take care of it admittedly, it's really scary and I don't want anymore harm to me, or worse. It's even hard to sleep without wheezing.

As I've gone over my car is kind of fucked right now and not drivable or repairable at the price I can afford. I'm fundraising for a month's transit costs roughly, the expense of the tows/"repair"/first week of ubers, and for some of the down-payment. Ubers on my commute average $25-30, and I have a little saved for the down-payment. For this week the goal is $250 at least, as well as ideally the unmet goal from previous weeks. i just think if youre usamerican and within an online fan community for something thats also predominantly liked by usamericans You should be nicer and more open minded to fans that arent from the us and maybe dont treat them like some sort of strange fucking creatures. you might get more fans to talk to and befriend if you dont act like the us is the default for everyone in existence. this applies to everything ever when it comes to interacting with others online but im talking about fandom bullshit currently so keep that in mind
