I continued watching Gilmore Girls again after four years. One of the things that I am slowly noticing, as I watch the show with "fresher" eyes, is how sad Emily Gilmore's social life is. Episodes 5 and 10 of season 3 showcase that pretty well. In Episode 5, Emily is suggested to have the need to maintain her social standing in her group. It shows the fragility and shallowness of one's position in that community. Like, what do you mean that Lorelai refusing to go on a second date with the Wine Guy could potentially make Emily be served the last cup of tea (which is a bad sign in their community)? Does Emily have genuine people she can approach, without having the need to earn or maintain earning their approval?
In Episode 10, Trix makes a surprise arrival to Richard's birthday. Emily suddenly became panicky, to the point that Lorelai had to give her simple advice to help her cope. Emily was also... more subservient to Trix. She was offering this and that, while Trix dismisses, diminishes, and disrespects her efforts.
Just an observation.
lane kim/dave rygalski supremacy for life 🙂↕️✊

jane did not have one real friend in that movie, cause even the ultimate hater casey could not handle the slideshow exposé
I love 27 dresses because the we start off with a guy who "loves that she never says no" (thank god he's not a worse dude because any other person with that mentality....ermm but either way still weird) then ends with a guy that wants her to say no to people to not always accommodate and for her to be imperfect ahh
~ A new beginning...~

Park Jinyoung & Park Boyoung posted pictures together for the finale of Our Unwritten Seoul!! They are so cute! Our Miji/Mirae and Hosu! I love their crowns so much! They worked amazing together and I am so glad this was Jinyoung's first project after finishing his military service, this really was a healing role for him.
There’s so much I want to say after the finale, and so much I want to praise. I appreciated the continued sentiment of it never being too late. You can start today, or tomorrow, or in 10 years, and it won’t ever be too late. And despite all the tears, the show brought me so much comfort.
I've always been stuck, I've struggled with walking forward, and I've been late over and over again, left behind by everything, but seeing what every character went through and how they kept walking, even if it was after years of stillness, was comforting. They found what they needed.
You'll find it. Whatever it is, you'll find it. But you don't have to spend every single day fighting and scouring for it, you can rest, and you'll still manage to find what you need.
Our Unwritten Seoul 미지의 서울 (2025) Dir. Park Shin Woo – Ep. 4
once again consumed by my feelings for sejin. he can read mirae as easily as breathing and he has long known that mirae is not who she claims to be, and needed to hear only a few details about her from miji to figure out who she really is.
they are so perfectly matched it hurts. he's lived her regrets and come out on the other side, and even though his advice helps her it also soothes him to give it.
the biggest difference between them is that sejin was responsible for his grandfather's death in a way mirae couldn't have been for the way her boss treated her. but she probably wouldn't listen to him if he hadn't been as responsible as he was, because it's impossible for her not to blame herself for her own perceived shortcomings. the fact that sejin has come so far on his own path of self-forgiveness is what makes it possible for mirae to have the confidence to get back on her own path.
their relationship is achingly tender. sejin is the calmest, deepest waters and offers himself to mirae in the gentlest way with absolutely no expectations or pressure to hurry up. that's exactly what mirae needs and he does it instinctively and that's why they are a perfect match.
