Heyo people!

I wanted to leave a message that I'll be continuing to post more of my art here in Tumblr more often other than being stuck in Instagram and Twitter's pretty massive and competitive algorithm :'DD

☆ Also, a bit of a lore drop; I've decided to be deferred (skipped/take a break) for a whole year just before transitioning to college life just to do my best on saving up as much as I can to atleast get a head start with being able to sustain myself.

You guys (and mostly I bc this break year is up my ass with so much free time) could start expecting more active sketches of my "long due but still active on brainstorming" passion project I've had in my mind since 2023:

Project: Flicker

Basically a (yet to be) anthology series inspired by the Roblox game of the same title "Flicker" by JJs Studios. Pieces of stories set in the early 2000s where the Golden Era of music, technology, and most importantly, video games were booming in the market.

We're met with a cast of college life students, teachers, punks, family, and friend groups that all relish in the new era of industrialization. The cast features people from across the globe that all have certain connections with each other through a tech series called "Pandora". A line of gadgets ranging from mobile phones to a full-on video game console, the characters find connection through these as they carry on with the narrative.

But what narrative?

What's this anthology really about anyway? A slice-of-life that focuses on the sudden technology media trend? Is that all they have in common throughout this series??

What the hell is "Pandora"???

You read through this summary with either piqued interest, curiosity, or genuinely just reading through another Tumblr person's random rambling to kill time.

By the future time, you read through these series as those beloved characters you may read about soon

Other than that! I have a few side projects (well. more so freelance work) that I wanna announce is new VGen services!

If y'all didn't know already, I take art commissions through VGen and had made a couple of basic services like full art illustrations and chibis!

I also have wanted to do more character design sheets and splash art for people to test out my stylizing and proportion skills! As well as redo my branding more since I've been starting to plan to table for the first time as an artist!

(and also to save up more mons to sustain myself for colleg ;;;;;;;)

Speaking of funds, however, I could also alternatively open simple Kofi doodle commissions for a more simple and cheaper way to support my work! (and Project: Flicker bc it's got me on a chokehold)

I don't normally use the Pen Pressure settings in Ibis since I draw with my finger, but one thing is my stabiliser is maxed out !!

Something I wanted to share while trying to write myself some fics for Deltarune, I learned it's personally better, as the writer, to amplify the concept of interacting with Kris as the SOUL throughout the fic.... hear me out..... it's gonna sound VERY VAGUE but hear me out trust me—

One thing is that everyone has their own depictions of how they want Hometown or even the Deltarune prophecy would work out with their own choices... So wouldn't it make more sense to bring the reader throughout the author's own journey to express their own thoughts and interactions they'd tell to Kris and (indirectly) to the characters as the SOUL instead of the reader.........? I'm aware the concept already kinda exists through some of the mini comics (fuckin find them hilarious and rlly good) which also brings me to my even more diabolical hmo;

It creates more of these solidified interpretations that the author had analyzed through their own depiction of Deltarune and it's characters, and seems to give a much more welcoming gesture to freely write and expand to the connections the author has with the characters theirself (okay maybe similar to a self-insert but it MAKES SENSE BC we're LITERALLY the SOUL....)

-- Instead of making it more open and vague in a sense ? (Not to say "to fit the reader's insert" bc not all people prolly think nor write in that matter, but it's how I've assumed it the first time reading some... and also not to say "everyone's writing sucks haha" NO, that's not my point at all) but it gives it a bit more depth to the alternative universe the author develops... (??

ALSO, isn't it interesting to write in that perspective as if it's the only proper way the author (or Player in this context) can somehow... idk, mess with Kris's mind or say diabolical shit, or just anything in general really in DETAIL? Instead of only being confined to say anything in a choice box every time you have a chance to have a say in-game?

Okay wait I have a thing I just theorized a bit and I may as well leave it here??? And it's something to do with Darkners and their indirect relationship with the Light world....

- Tenna has mentioned Spamton to have been occupied with his phone rather than their partnership with eachother, AND what if that occurence also reflects the objects current state in the Light World?

- And one thing I can probably point out from this theory thing is when Kris throws out the SOUL to wander off by theirself, and when stalking them through the vents up to the kitchen in the mansion, Kris is seen to be talking with an unknown entity through the phone, in which everyone seems to suspect is either the mystery man or the roaring knight.

Can't tell exactly at this stage if it's Carol nor Dess since they both have legitimate-illegitimate evidence that evens the theories for both of them being the Roaring Knight.

- Now, theoretically, Spamton is what we can say are the spam emails Kris has on their phone. And maybe. Everytime Kris get's a call from this unknown number, Spamton also get's this same call on his phone BUT with an alternative person next to it, it could be FRIEND or whatever sure. But if the "Darkners retain their memories even in the real world" stuff is true like how Tenna describes how he's seen the broken Dreemurr and Holiday families, would Spamton have been indirectly in contact with the same entities Kris could've have been in contact with either?

Just found a comic of Berdly being a trading card collector turned to such a fuckin moment for me (I love Pokémon cards and I cherish my collection) because I can actually seem him eitherside of having knowledge and possession of genuinely high valuable cards that he collects or cards he pulled himself from blister packs as a lil bird. This is very precious to me
