the bad thing about having unhealthy habits due to mental illness, is when you DO do something healthy style you can't brag about about it because then people will then know you've been doing it yucky style all along. Like you can't brag you changed your sheets or brushed your teeth because then ppl will be like oh did you not brush your teeth regularly before? Thats yucky disgusting! So you just gotta keep it to yourself. And be proud alone, I suppose.

I feel like people underestimate the feeling of having a thought/idea/emotion/etc reciprocated by somebody else

#i tend to lose myself and spiral if I think about it too hard lol but is it just me or it feels really unreal #like when you think about it it's a complete another human being with their own life and personality #understanding something that came out of you. especially if it's something niche/specific/indulgent/etc #idk how to describe it but it keeps me awake at night. i literally stare at the ceiling spiraling and trying to understand it #especially if it happens multiple times a day. like. what is this?#i get this same feeling when somebody makes something for me. like #youre trying to tell me another human being sat down for hours on end thinking of me to make me happy?#wasted their time and patience and energy and concentration to make me happy?#having thoughts reciprocated isn't anything less. like. wow. my brain was understood. and not only understood. someone does so TOO??#i get so giddy when I find out somebody thought something I did or feels the same way i do (not romantic)#like wow maybe im not that insane or that much of a freak #idk to me it's just.... so weird and unusual to get that from people #is that something that's supposed to be common? cuz to me it's really not #to me it always leaves me shocked but happy #is this something i was missing out on all this time?
