Fairy pigeons?

edit: for those concerned about the colorful birds, I was able to find this:

They are dyed and fed a special diet. These are pigeons located in Pearl City Hawaii and the Humane society has certified that they are treated humanely and are not in any danger from the process that changes their coloring. Their keeper (Doug Beter) has been recognized by the humane society for his best practices and his care for the birds.

[Date: December 25th] Whenever Quarters comes back to his room for the first time in the day, his presents are waiting for him. An elaborate bird cage– more of a castle, really– with multiple perches and a few little birdy treats inside. There’s also a concealment holster for an averagely sized gun wrapped in green, nearby. Both gifts have a purple bow atop them.

Clover had outdone himself. You can’t help but wonder how the hell he got it up the stairs but it looks beautiful. Upon setting Butter inside the mansion of a cage she doesn’t know what to do with her little self, deciding to hop around from perch to perch. Meanwhile you admire the holster. This thing looked like it should be worn out to a fancy party, you were going to make sure to show it off. God damn.
