n o t e: If none of these plots work for you, I’d be more than happy to work something different out or enact a plot you’d like to fulfill with your character if you message me
Grief Does Powerful Things [m or f or nonbin]
For this plot, I was thinking our characters could meet at a group counseling session for the loss of loved ones. Grey lost his child and his wife in a horrific car accident in LA six months ago and he is very much still dealing with the aftermath of that. They could bond and build a real friendship.
Townies [m or f or nonbin]
For this plot, I was thinking that your character and Grey could have been friends when they were in high school and sort of fell out of touch when college came and they went their separate ways. They each vowed they would never return to Maine and yet here they are. It’d be cool to see them reconnect and sort of realize how different they are from one another now and how much their lives have changed.
Let It Go [m or f or nonbin]
I was thinking it’d be cool if Grey and your character had beef way back in highschool-- maybe your character stole Grey’s girlfriend, or used to bully Grey, or maybe they were friends once and had a horrible betrayal, but I’d think it’d be interesting to see them together... especially if they were friends once and it ended on awful terms. Especially with the death of Grey’s wife and daughter, it’d be even more angsty if your character was someone who knew him almost better than anyone else.
Party On [m or f or nonbin]
I’m looking for a bad influence for Grey, a friend who just wants to have fun, fun, fun... maybe sees how sad he looks sometimes and all they want to do is cheer him up. But the more they become friends, the more your characters motives become questionable-- do they actually care about Grey or are they just keeping him around as a rich friend to party with?
Hollywood is for Chums [m or f or nonbin]
I can very much see Grey having a really difficult time readjusting to Maine life, so I was thinking he could befriend someone really down to Earth who isn’t at all into the superficial world of LA and being famous, and maybe is going through struggles of their own. How awesome would it be to forge a friendship with our characters taking weekend trips into Boston, winging each other at bars, and generally just having a brotp.

n o t e: I’d like to disclaim for any ‘ship’ based plots, I absolutely do not expect these ships to last forever, for them to be full of fluff or perfect all the time, or for them to be OTP5evr or anything drastic like that. I really like putting characters into ships to see how they will react to them and how they end up growing from them, even after they’re over and even after they end. I’m super flexible and if you’re not feeling it anymore, just let me know! Also if you’re interested in a ship plot, again, it doesn’t have to last forever or be all devouring or true love. It could just be a quick one time thing, a prolonged connection, whatever have you.
For this plot, I would really like to see Grey get his muse back to score movies again. Right now he is doing it out of contractual necessity and has largely lost his love for it.
For this plot, I was thinking your character and Grey dated in high school and maybe had a pregnancy scare, and your character didn’t tell Grey she was pregnant or that she aborted the baby and just broke it off with him in some random awful, angsty way. Seeing them reconnect could be a really powerful thing.
Just Friends, Right? [ f ]
This plot would need to start out with Grey and your character being really close platonic friends, but maybe over time the lines begin to blur and they aren’t sure what they really feel for one another.
We fuck, but it doesn’t mean anything [ f ]
Seeing as Grey is pretty torn up about Holly and Madalena, I can see him trying to move on in the only way that people tell him how to: by dating and getting out there into the world. However, he finds that he can’t move on and he and your character are stuck in this circle of fucking and seeing other people and still keeping each other around on the downlow.

Shit, you okay? [m or f or nonbin]
Maybe your character and Grey are out hiking and one of them slips, falls, and hits their head, resulting in a minor concussion and one is forced to drive the other to the hospital, resulting in a new connection with a complete stranger.
Let’s Start with Tchaikovsky [m or f or nonbin]
This plot requires a parent with a child looking for piano lessons. Since Grey is new to town and is looking to teach piano lessons to kid instead of scoring, he has to start somewhere. Maybe he put up a few fliers around town and your character takes the bait, sticking around and chatting with him after the lesson is done.
Big Old House [ m or f or nonbin]
For this plot, I was thinking I wanted Grey to get a roommate. Though he has enough to afford a ranch style house, I feel as though being alone will only send him spiraling down a dark hole... and he realizes as much himself. Maybe your character answers his flier for a roommate.
