What rules do you follow for your legacies? I know lots of people try the whole starting from a completely empty lot thing, but that seems extremely difficult.

Hmm..

Well, when I first started playing, I tried all the rules. Start from an empty lot, no money cheats, the spouse has to be someone in the town, all of them.    

But then I realized how boring that makes a legacy for me, so I kind of made my own rules as I went along. Like, with the Wilson legacy it was kind of just a 'haha this is fun yeah lets do this'

and now with the Calico legacy, I'm going on a general 'do whatever the fuck keeps me interested for more than two generations' and that happens to be: minimal money cheats and get everyone's spouses from other simmers. I might make up random rules for myself later on, but meh.

Rules make me not have fun, so I tend to hide from them. xD
