i do normally try not to let myself be sensitive to this sort of thing but seeing people call the toonimal thing 'discourse' or 'drama' and talk about how pointless callouts are when i consider that group of people a genuine hazard to have within art and furry spaces i. i mean its kind of why ive been a bit quiet online the last few days, so im sorry. but if thats 'drama' to you i dont have a lot of respect for you as a person. these are issues that need to be handled within the art/furry/queer community and quickly, theyre a danger to the vulnerable members of those groups.

i care about this on the basis of having a kid myself, but i also care about it as a repeat victim of csa over the course of a decade both from within these fandom spaces and outside it. it's not just 'drama' or 'discourse' to me, its had a very heavy and direct effect on my life and my path to recovery.

Overwatch 2 is genuinely the first time I've seen the "Overwhelmingly negative" category of user review on Steam. It actually exists.

There have been games that straight up didn't work, like Arkham Knight's PC port, and they had "Very negative" on their user review scores.

I didn't know it could actually get lower (feasibly I mean, it obviously existed since some games hit "Overwhelmingly Positive", but holy shit)

I need to put into perspective just how hard it actually is for a game to get "Overwhelmingly Negative" on Steam. It can't just be that in has 5 reviews and 4 are Negative, you need A LOT of reviews for it to count as "Overwhelming." So it needs to be bad enough to receive all those negative reviews, but also popular enough that a bunch of people actually buy it and play it, which is already difficult since most shitty games stop getting new players once people realize they're shit. But not only does it need to suck while still somehow attracting a LOT of players, it also needs to leave enough of an impact for almost all those players to leave bad reviews instead of just uninstalling and doing something else! And Overwatch 2: Employee Abuse Boogaloo perfectly managed to tick all those boxes. It's almost commendable, really.

i’ve made a few posts in the last couple of days about my current situation , but i thought i would consolidate it all into one post ;;

hi there ! my name is shroom and i have type two diabetes . i have to take insulin every day to survive – i take my levemir when i wake up and before i go to sleep , and i take my humalog before every meal . 

my younger brother is a nightmare to live with . he abuses me mentally and physically , and nothing is ever done about it . he shoved me down the stairs just a few months ago , leaving me with a permanent knee injury . the other day , he was upset about something completely unrelated to me , and decided to take the rest of my insulin pens out of the fridge and smash them with a hammer .

when i told my father about what happened , he told me that i shouldn’t have kept them in the fridge . for those of you who don’t know , you have to keep your unopened insulin pens refrigerated . once you start using the pen , you can keep it at room temperature . my fathers knows this – i’ve told him several times and his father also had diabetes , it’s just an excuse for him to not have to do anything about my brother’s behavior .

i’m now left with only my two current pens , and my supply is rapidly dropping . at this rate , i have less than a week’s worth , so i’m going to have to start cutting meals and stretching my insulin . to prevent anything like this from ever happening again , i’ve decided to invest in a mini fridge and a new doorknob with a lock for my bedroom .

for a month’s supply of insulin , i have to pay $70 – $35 for three pens of both humalog and levemir . the mini fridge is $28 with $9 in taxes and shipping fees . the cheapest doorknob i could find online that’ll work with my door is $13 . all together , that’s about ~$120 . 

i’ve already had a few very charitable people help me out and i've reopened commissions to help fund this !! if anyone could spare a few dollars , it would mean the world to me !! even reblogging this and spreading the word is highly appreciated
