(Idk if I’m gonna continue to rp Crane and Forge, but that doesn’t mean I’m retiring the characters!! They’ll most likely show up on my main blog when I randomly feel the urge to doodle them in good (or angsty) shenanigans.

I will say, for any still rping, I’m completely ok if you’d like to reference them or add them as background characters or something. Just make sure to @ me so I can see the goofyness that get up to.

I might come back to rping at some point but for right now, the sillies are gonna hang with my other sillies.)

“Technically he’s not contacting me, this is Crane’s comm channel. Why he’s contacting Crane is a mystery to me.”

“Fett said he needs help. Then Let’s help him!” Ah yes Winter Mayhe, the Jedi commander willing to help anyone.

“I can’t leave Coruscant, and we don’t even know where Fett is, commander.”

“I’ll say you’re helping me with a mission, and we’ll follow all your rules.” The Jedi commander said, like it was obvious.

“And I had bug trace where the comm came from. He’s on Zygerria.”

I wanna know crane and forge’s opinions on the corrie guard massiffs!!! Are y’all besties or do you steer clear of em???

I like the Massiffs, they look scary but once they trust you they’re big sweethearts.

Crane on the other hand

Crane ran into a beast on patrol once and it got its teeth in him, from then on he hasn’t been the biggest fan of “slobbery beasts” as he like to put it

With the help of Bite and the element of surprise, with Crane jumping down from the rafters, Their able to get the jump on the guards quickly and quietly.

Crane gestures to Bite to retreat to where the rest of the squad was. Crane was going to cause a distraction, and needed no other vode to get involved.

“Trust me.” Is all Crane signalled, ‘force I should have thought of something better,’ before opening the door. 

“Hey! Sorry I was looking for the fresher, could you point me in it’s detection?”

Cranes then books it down the opposite side of the hallway, being chased by 3 of the Rattataki that were in the room, hopefully leaving Tumbler unguarded or at least less guarded.

Force if this doesn’t kill him, Forge sure as hells will.

The three Rattataki Guard react almost instantly, shouting orders in their native tongues and give chase towards the intruder.

However, one comes to a stop and begins to back away, eyes narrowed in thought. He looked to where his fellow guards have given chase and then back to the Pet's enclosure. He sensed something was amiss and why would one lone intruder openly draw their attention?

He reaches for his comm and takes a detour to the security room, giving one last look to his fellow guards.

"Lady Vyrim, we have a situation..."

Well, if the siren is sounded, there's no point keeping the Rattataki alive for stealths sake. Bite lunges at the guard, blade flashing. He'd studied up on Rattataki physiology before the mission and now uses that to strike at a few non-lethal points before moving in for the throat.

From the security room, Bite has access to the cameras set up to keep the area secure. As he starts trying to locate any remaining Rattataki that Crane hadn't distracted he finds a live feed, on it, a glimpse of the vod they had been looking for.

"Vod'e, I think you might want to see this..."

That's enough of the subtle way. 1607 came to save his brother and kriff things up, and he plans to get both of those things done. "Alright everyone, stand back and let me handle these bastards." The moment his vode are out of the way, 07 starts unloading blaster fire into the hallway wildly, trusting luck to do the work for him.

The lights go red and alarms go off with the sound of blaster fire not long after. The alarms seem to grab the Rattataki attention for a split second, Crane sees this opportunity to take his shot, pulling his pistol out and firing at the guards. The guards immediately look to Crane, beginning to charge at him once more.

Crane starts running again, the Rattataki swiftly catching up.

*PSHEW PSHEW*

Crane gets hit, shot. He’s tackled by one of the Rattataki, on the floor he has a blaster held to his head.

“Well another pet for lad—” the Guard gets cut off

Crane aimed his pistol, fired off 3 shots into the guards gut and 1 into his chest, Crane quickly slides the body off him and fires a shot right in between the other guards eyes. He falls to the floor with a thud.

He breathes heavily.

‘Gotta get back to the squad, hopefully they’ve got Tumbler by now’ Crane thinks as he stands and cups a hand over his right side.

It can hear the alarms going off but doesn't move from where it stands amidst the toys it was pitted against. It is faintly grateful that the slowly dripping of the blood splattered ceiling is drowned out and waits for the next fight.

And waits. And waits. It's Lady Vyrim had told it, after successfully subduing it with a bit that tore and pulled the corners of it's mouth tight, arms bound against its back that it constantly pulls against that soon it would have fights upon fights once they both left for her home. It doesn't want to go but at the same time, it wants out of the room it's confined in. Away from the toys and the stench of blood and confusion mashed with grief.

It remembers these rooms are meant to signify safety and it doesn't feel safe. It feels watched and caged, left alone with corpses that look like it's siblings.

So for now it waits.

And stares at the camera, head tilted with empty eyes.

Bite has treated POWs in the field before. Brothers caught by separatists that were deemed worth retrieving and even Jedi who were being torn apart for their information. This was different. What those prisoners went through, the pain they faced, was just a tool to get what they wanted in the eyes of the CIS. This was pure sadism.

The first thing Bite saw was the blood. The varied reds and browns reached every corner of the room, the brightest hues drawing his gaze to the centre. And there stood Tumbler, restrained and wounded, surrounded by gore. The clone had obviously been fighting, defensive wounds covering his body bearly discernable from the ones inflicted with much more intent.

It was the eyes that left Bite so unbalanced, all higher level thought seemingly locked away deep within, leaving only base instinct and unadulterated fear. If they wanted to get Tumbler out of here quick, then Bite had a difficult time ahead.

Crane sees the Rattataki body’s outside a room, best bet the teams in there, huffing a bit he walks to the door.

Crane taps a code on the door, when he gets a response he enters, ‘A security room, huh.’ He thought.

But then he saw the footage, and froze. Crane has seen those eyes before, only once and those eyes looked right through him, pointing a blaster in between his eyes.

“That’s not tumbler…” crane speaks slowly. “At least not right now.”

“But whatever whoever that is..”

It can sense it's being watched.

Alarms keep blaring but the sounds of activity outside its cage have grown still. The camera hasn't given anything away, but it knows when it has an audience.

And it is TIRED of being watched. The wait is unbearable when it knows they wish to see it bloodied, see teeth dig in and viscera coat the walls anew.

It's bindings limit movement but it's still capable of grabbing something wet.

(It's a still wet with blood ragged shirt, torn off of the vod faced wearing stranger they threw in there with it. They begged to open the door, then begged for mercy which it could only provide in death. It doesn'tfeel pity, but a distant thought almost whispered the emotion.)

Item in hand, it doesn't hesitate to throw it with perfect aim at the camera. A wet splat and the camera is now blocked.

It doesn't remove the notion of an audience but it feels less watched now.

The sound and the camera cutting out seems to break Crane out of… whatever that was, and he clears his throat.

“Ok I have a plan.. probably not the best plan, but a plan.”

Crane takes a deep breath and winces a bit from the wound on his side. He’s so going to get punched for this.

“Tumblers clearly not going down without some kind of fight and I don’t think just a sedative will knock him out. So I say we send Mouse in first to at least make Tumbler lesson his guard..”

Crane takes out his pistol, and switches it to stun.

“Then when he pounces we hit him with stun bolts until he goes down, inject the sedative to knock him out completely, then get him out of here and in some becta.”

He stands at the door pistol in hand waiting for what the other vod have to say.

It’s a holo, depicting CT-8256, Crane, and Jedi commander Winter Mayhe.

Crane’s armour is panted with the dark pink of the 227th and he and the Jedi commander seem to be dancing after a mission.

The guard hears approaching voices, they quickly put small trinkets and the holo into a small bag and tuck it back into Forge’s bunk. They grab their bucket and leave.

‘Well that doesn’t tell me anything.’ They thought as they nod to the Vod entering the barracks.

(I’ll make Mayhe an actual ref sheet with info on her eventually, but for now just her and Crane having a good time.

Senator Vyrim, the representative of the Separatist Allied planet Rattataki.

Rattataki appear to be very war tribe in culture, as well as boasting of great endurance of pain as many Rattataki are adjourned in piercings and tattoos from head to toe. Vyrim is no stranger to her own customs, going for piercings that signify her status as Senator.

( So I'm getting some increasingly passive-aggressive anon asks about when Wayward Guard is gonna continue and normally, I delete those kind of things because frankly, you should let people post at their own pace but I feel I need to blankly state this because the asks are now 5 in total in my box, which is kinda silly?

SO! To whoever is sending those asks, I would like to inform you that people have lives to focus on. I, Squad, Crane and Bite have other priorities, some of us are ill and some of us have jobs/education to focus on and we have different time zones to work around.

So please have some patience and stop getting angry that we're not posting quick enough for your liking. Even unfollow me if this response upsets you because I'm a lil upset at the audacity to being told that me and the others need to keep a pace.
