Romance of A Twin Flower - Nie Sangyu (2023)

I've finished The Starry Love in just few days. GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH. From the witty and comedic FL and her buddies character, charismatic and versatile ML characters, tragic plot to lovey-dovey husband-wife scenes. Every episodes were worth to watch.

I've admired Chen Xingxu's acting since Goodbye My Princess and yes he never disappoints!! His chemistry with Li Landi on screen was over the roof!! I am rooting for a reunion of them for a modern drama (plsss).

Past 20 episodes of Goodbye My Princess, I could tell it's a wholesome melodramatic experience for me as a beginner in cdramas esp Wuxia/ historical genre.

The palace sets? Majestic.

The fighting scenes? Detailed (though it is kinda hard to not point out the stunt show done by strings).

The plot? So far, it is well-written, very clear of every characters backstory and of course the main leads chemistry in this 👍🏻👍🏻

I cannot stress how fascinated I am by the details in drapes and designs of the costumes. I would recommend this drama for historical, tragic but beautiful drama lovers who watch to escape reality and feel the pain.
