i totally understand he’s a hated character and you’re allowed to be rude to him as much as you’d like :) i welcome it. let’s just not make fun of his concussions (or that he can’t take punches and gets kayoed all the time) because despite the comics treating guy’s brain damage as a punchline - he’s a man who’s suffered repeated traumatic brain injuries, which would be life-altering and disabling in real life - using it as comic relief is plain cruel 🥲 it just breaks my heart personally so. let’s not - haha! i don’t like brain damage / concussion jokes it will never be funny to me sorry 🙂↔️(unless ofc your character IS that cruel and that’s just how they roll then by all means go ahead! just forewarning that it is ableist to be doing so!!)
for this reason: guy suffers terrible headaches, erratic behavior, gaps in memory, heavy mood swings, and other cognitive symptoms that indicate neurological impairment 💔

his older brother, mace, a police officer, set him straight when he was young. he pushed him onto a better path, turning him away from delinquency
he attended university of michigan and graduated with a bachelor in psychology and education. guy worked as a social welfare caseworker for prison inmate rehabilitation, then transitioned onto teaching physical education to children with disabilities
the events of his entrapment in the phantom zone ( which is really when his personality changes after the event ) and sustaining brain damage from psychic injury is established
i might not acknowledge the batman punching guy in the justice league international because the way the writers handle guy right after is so …….. 💔 #freeguy
