I think that if they want to keep the sorta evil Guardians in the comics while keeping them in a position of power they should explain how they can keep influence over the Lanterns even after their evil shit gets exposed. Personally, I think some sorta emotional energy/Mind manipulation would be fun. Make it a horror vibe

Just watched supergirl and oh my god i am so obssed with the fact that we have a female main character and shes sloppy and snippy and rude and an alcoholic and messy and flawed. And yet shes still able to be kind and good and be an inspiration to people. All while not having a romance and while not trying to appeal to anyone. This is what everything should be.

every time i post something like this someone gets mad at me but i really don't know what to tell these people. every year we get an influx of people who will enter these spaces for a shared interest in comics that they not only have not read, they often have no interest in reading and sometimes will actively degrade the entire medium to justify not reading them. and if you express any discontent with this arrangement you're the bad guy for not enabling a deeply incurious practice of not wanting to engage with art or its creators beyond digestible abridged versions plastered over slideshows of out of context panels and stolen fanart

i just got off work so i don't have a snippet of it but ! the idea is actually something @seven-sector2814 mentioned a bit ago where john has to uphold a complicated construct in a bad situation while guy throws himself around to keep enemy attention away from john. in my version, they will kiss (kinda)!

You know what would be super fun? I think the Red, Yellow, and Blue Lanterns should get yo almost "infect" people with their corps emotion (I think? The Blues might already do that but I'm really not sure). Something something primary colours getting to be Weird about it

A Blue Lantern in the middle of battle, looking at an ally that's about to give up and going "Get up." Red Lanterns pushing their allies and enemies into rage in a way that seems too easy to be natural. Yellow Lantern yelling at an ally to "Move!", and infecting them with pure panic for a few seconds to get that immediate adrenaline response
