The thing about Miss Piggy is that she kind of has a Roger Rabbit comedy superpower where she wins nearly any conceivable fight she's in. But unlike other characters of which that's true, like say, Bugs Bunny, who tend to win because they make the opponent play the game with their rules, Miss Piggy wins because the joke is that she can beat the shit out of literally anybody.
Bugs Bunny beats Thanos by setting up an airport and making him take off the Infinity Gauntlet to go through the metal detector.
Miss Piggy beats Thanos by karate chopping him in the face and sending him flying.

The problem with studying the deep ocean is that humans need light to look at things, the depths of the ocean are extremely dark, and what lives there is accustomed to spending most of its time in that darkness. So when we go down there with submersibles and turn on Big Lights to see, we invariably and dramatically alter what's going on, in the same way that it's generally difficult to observe the natural behaviors of terrestrial animals if you whip out a megaphone and shout HEY GUYS WHAT ARE YOU DOING at them first.

Among other things, she used the bioluminescence of stoplight fish to deduce wavelengths which most deep sea animals can’t perceive and used that to create light filters to be able to film with minimal disturbance! And that’s how we got 25 minutes of giant squid footage!!!!

when jon asks about his poetry and hes like i havent exactly had a lot of time recently and its like. that may be true but its obviously more than that. like theres always talk (and this idea has become less en vogue in circles adjacent to me over the last decade but it is by no means gone) of creative geniuses throughout history being so good bc they were mentally ill but in reality its actually unbelievable how difficult it is to make art when youre deeply depressed. its one thing to write a poem when youre sad bc youre, For Example, pining after your boss who hates you, but its another thing entirely to write a poem when youre actively, deliberately cutting yourself off from the world and your own emotions. where does the poetry come from if you cant dig your hands in and pull it out of the world or your emotions. and why would you even care about poetry if its not for and from the world and your emotions. and how do you begin to heal if you cant access the world and your emotions. and and and
no literally like the fact that 1. jon felt such a strong need to connect that he 2. dug up the memory of something he knows martin likes and 3. asked about it in That Voice and then 4. martin didnt even react. he didnt even get all breathless and excited that jon cared enough to ask. he didnt even like. smile. remember how happy he sounded when daisy told him that people said he and jon were close. thats how he wouldve responded if jon asked him about his poetry in season three. but hes too far gone for that! lol!

i ADORE when beginner artists or people who think that everyone thinks their art is bad draw my characters btw. there's so much love in people's creations and that goes for beginner/"""bad""" artists too. it's so fun seeing someone whos art might not be as 'good' as everyone else's (trust me your art is still good and it's so sosososo fun to see) draws a character. i must say, i am a huge fan of when a book is in the middle of a very exciting plot containing many interesting problems when out of nowhere for a few pages it's like, "hey by the way, real quick, here's a detailed explanation of the city's water filtration system! i'm telling you this for a reason and you should worry about it. anyway! haha okay back to the plot" and you just get to be Scared for a while

the amazing digital circus is a show about empathy and what it does to you if you go too long without a support system so the show starts with sympathizing with Pomni (the most empathetic person, easy), ep2 is empathizing with an NPC in a game (no flaws), ep3 is empathizing with a man who has dementia, ep4 is empathizing with someone who annoys you when they're unmasking, ep5 is asking you to empathize with a rich white woman and so on....
so it all works up to the empathy boss - a bush era edgelord millenial trans girl who thinks she's Max from Sam & Max and is inherently unworthy of love

Forcefemming the prince but instead of putting her in a big poofy princess dress and doing her makeup and such, I've given her gay little shorts and tank tops and I'm making her learn volleyball. The pixie cut and estrogen are enhancing her boyish charm and making her more confident and prideful in a cutes way. All the other lady knights gather around and catcall her when she's on the court. They still call her the prince, just in a girl way now.
