okay so if i am understanding this correctly, the double waved only came after george already completed his lap. the fia sheet shows george setting his quali time at 17:00, he only passed the double waved yellows on his way into the pits at 17:02

The amount of misinformation being spread about is actually impressive. The analysis has been done you can literally watch it, it was a single yellow (proved by the onboards of both Kimi and George ), he lifted significantly more than previous laps (shown on telemetry), he therefore keeps the pole position.

Double waved yellows came into effect after they completed the laps, hence the deleted lap times (the inlaps)

What you should be angry at is the FIA for taking so long to change to double waved yellows
