Ok but the fucking horror of falling in love with a guy and maybe having suspicions about his life before he knew you because maybe he spends too much time in his dark room and is fixated on artillery, but it’s alright because what other option do you have, and one day he comes up to you with tears in his eyes like ‘you gotta go back to your parents and I’m not gonna tell you why’ and so you go because he seems really panicked and you do have a child together, so if he senses such danger then you’ll trust him, and then you watch the fucking secret police stomping towards your house with wanted posters for the guy who killed the fucking czar who has been living with your family for several months and you’re like, ‘if the police are already on there way I need to warn him and help bc obviously this is worse than he thought’ and so you turn around and the czar killer shoots you and your fucking baby in one shot and when you bleed out and die the man you fell in love with tells you ‘soooo actually the name you know me by isn’t my name’ and your last name is neither yours nor his and you die in a strangers arms. Oh and actually he doesn’t think he betrayed you and wants to take over your city in a military coup so that your remains rest in a country you’ve probably never even been to.
