Hi I have a question about Pacific Rim. Given that the sparring is just A way to test for drift compatibility and any activity that requires people to collaborate and anticipate each others moves works, including stuff like multi player video games
Can you test for drift compatibility via improv comedy
They are piloting a Jaeger together in my imagination
#hate this. im in the shatterdome trying to coordinate my jaegers in the field fighting for the fate of humanity #and these two chuckleheads over here won’t stop doing bits on the open channel #they keep defeating kaiju with slapstick routines and its INFURIATING
yeah the worst part is it's actually working for them
I’m not very familiar with Pacific Rim - will you get the same results with a team of three as opposed to a pair? Asking for some friends.
And today I learned that the movie "The Shining" can be used as a verb.
That was totally rude of them to interrupt Omar’s nap.
Get this man another dog (if he doesn’t have one already) STAT!
So, full downloadable map of Weirdsville will be available when?
Anna using 'Paul Robalino' as a non-famous person name to his FACE was so sick, twisted, and hilarious. I'm still laughing about it 10 minutes later.
It’s Pride Month Eve, so leave out some milk for Freddie Mercury and his cats.
Time for the annual Pride Month reblog of Freddie Mercury and his fabulous cats!

Lore-Keeper Ledger drop for May 2026!
So we start with more detailed explanations of the timeline that was previously dropped:
The Shapers' War: This war began when the Rungjani (orcs) rose up against their cruel god, Azgra, slaying him with the newly forged Pariah Blades. The Shapers chose to defend the god of war, so their children allied with their orcish brethren and turned against their gods. The fighting lasted for a decade, until the last Shaper, Sylandri, the Goddess of Life, was slain - thus snuffing out the long-reigning Age of the Shapers, and beginning Year 1 of the Fifth Age, "The Age of Mortals." The Age of Mortals: The current age, which began when the last living Shaper, Sylandri, was slain by the Last Arrow. Vaelus was present at this battle. Retribution: Violence rises once again in response to the realized loss of the various afterlives. The Ghost Wars: The clerics and druids discovered that the underworld had become a physical place, now that the Shapers no longer controlled the spirits. Thus, various undead began to rise, including vampires and ghosts. This was a violent period of heightened terror, rather than a true war, as each community began to mount their own defenses against the incursion of undead. The War of Axe & Vine: A war of political boundaries that set the borders of Pasitar’s nations. The Sundered Houses began to climb in power. Both Thjazi and Halandil Fang fought during this war. Thjazi’s noble actions during this war led to his engagement to Aranessa Royce. The Falconer’s Rebellion: A failed uprising against the new nation-states formed during the War of Axe & Vine. Commoners versus nobility. Many mercenary groups were active during the rebellion, including the Torn Banner. This group included members Thjazi Fang, Thimble, Kattigan Vale, Teor Pridesire, and Azune Nayar. Sir Julien Davinos and Bolaire Lathalia also fought in the rebellion, with Julien fighting for House Royce on the side of the Sundered Houses and Bolaire for other mercenaries. Reaper’s Day: When the heart of Tír Cruthú, also known as the land of Faerie, was struck by a burst of necrotic energy from the underworld and instantly shut its doors to save the lives of the fey. Unfortunately, this trapped the fey living outside Tír Cruthú on this side of the planes, and thus the faeries began to age. The Death of Thjazi Fang: Thjazi Fang was executed by the Chamber of Lords-Advisory. The circumstances of his death and the mysterious plans he made have continued to vex the people he left behind.
Some of my thoughts on this timeline info:
Interesting drop that the Age of Mortals is the fifth age. We can pretty safely assume the fourth was an age of the Shapers. Though whether or not the Shapers were present for more than one age is a different question. I'd say, looking at Exandria's epochs, that there's a fair chance that the third age is the killing of the Shapers' old powers of Aramán spouses with the second age being the Shapers' arrival and the first being everything before the Shapers. But I will happily be proven wrong just to learn that lore.
Something called Retribution being 10 years post-Shapers' War makes more sense now, as it either took a while for the Shapers' afterlives to untether, or it just took that long for people to notice the dead weren't moving on in the same way.
Ghost Wars has no end date because the undead still roam Aramán. If Thjazi was fixing the afterlives and the PCs carry through, maybe the campaign will end the Ghost Wars...
I'd still like more info on Axe & Vine. Like why start fighting over political borders then? And who's side were Hal and Thjazi fighting for, and against who?
Still, some nice little crumbs here.
We also got the full Seven Shining Tennets of the Candescent Creed
Seven Shining Tenets (from the Doctrine of the Beam) I. THE LIGHT IS ALL All is born of Eternal Light. From the First Spark, Candescence flows in an eternal river, carrying and shining upon the universe. II. ILLUMINATION SPARKS THROUGH FAITH Belief ignites the cosmos. Souls ride the current through faith in the light; never faith in Gods. III. THE LUMINUS SHINE WITHIN Through goodness, those who attain inward flame shall be called the Luminus, and their glow shall be unmistakable. IV. THE ANOINTED CAST THE BEAM The sacred glyphs shimmer only to The Family of Flame. The Creed alone transposes Light to Filament. The Luminus shall obey and never outshine. V. LIGHT SHALL BE MADE LIQUID Through mystery, Beam becomes Filament, drawn in the Prismatic Retort. To sip is to commune. To anoint is to transpose. VI. LIGHT CASTS ITS OWN SHADOW All who bear the torch shall mind the darkness it throws. With light there is always shadow, which must be outshined. VII. LIVE AGLOW, OR BE UNMADE To err is to dim. To doubt is to extinguish. Seek out the dim soul, the shadow, the demon, and snuff it out like a dying ember. So it is written.
I am heavily side-eyeing 4 specifically calling out for people to obey and never outshine "the Family of Flame" given the Halovars were/are the House of Flame.
Yanessa and her bullshit "give me all the power" religion for sure.
Anyways, that's the lore drop this month!
Happy Pride!

Exclusive: Justice Department launches a criminal investigation into Trump accuser E. Jean Carroll
(CNN) — The Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into E. Jean Carroll, the former magazine columnist who accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
The investigation is focused on whether Carroll committed perjury in testimony tied to her two civil lawsuits against the president – one alleging he sexually abused Carroll in a New York department store in the mid-1990s, and a second for defaming her when in 2019 he repeatedly denied the assault, said she wasn’t his type and claimed she made it up to boost sales of a book.
