Help!
Real but long post:
The Suicide rate isn’t up because folk didn’t try to make things “happen” good in their life; it’s up because those CONNECTED to them weren’t in tune with those they claim to love and support verbally but are absent naturally, reached out but was repeatedly rejected, frustrated being the lending ear, helping hand, sound counsel and strength for everyone else and last but not least because what weighed on them was so time pressing it caused them to collapse in pain due to lack of help from outside anonymous resources. So the suffer in silence for days on end, hoping that someone will come to their muted rescue.
And before you holler out, “ They need Jesus!”
Check yourself...... Because JESUS called and chose YOU to be LIKE HIM!
I’m reminded of the scripture and I quote, 1 John 3:17 “But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”
Most suicide victims more than others often times fulfilled this scripture more than those that are fortunate than them. Even to the point of giving their last to satisfy the means of others while neglecting their own needs. But the sad part about that is, the enemy plays hard on their genuine compassion that it makes them second guess the heart of others, which intends to drive them into a deeper depression.
As a Victor over that demon, I speak Up because unlike most folks, I’m not intimidated about what folk think about me. Yes at the end of the day, people can do what they want with what is theirs, however, don’t offer people a glass of wine, when they are asking for help. Suicide victims feel HELPLESS and in that helplessness they feel useless and then choose to take their life! So pause a minute on being quick to say No or ignore the signs..... see pass yourself! There are so many people going through, the least you can do is pray the most you can do is Help!
If this has spoke to your heart...... check on those you are CONNECTED TOO.... Moses’ arms are weak, will you help hold them up!
