(Headcannon Rant!) ughuhuh i got too bored i CANTUHhhh

I headcannon that Mac is lethally, deathly, overly, whatever you wanna call it- afraid of bugs! All bugs, atleast when they're physical bugs or whatever.. (uh oh grammarful writing and wall of text?? Someone pls teach me how to make cuts i swear)(Mac mentions are labeled green to avoid possible confusion??)

Even as a computer, (pre-realization) Mac would be scared and/or disgusted when it comes to bugs. When it comes to game bugs or anything similar to that, they wouldn't mind bugs too much, maybe only be annoyed or so. But let Mac encounter any of those god cursed bugs and they'll probably start sobbing into their hands for long moments, no end.. Then if those scary ass bugs get patched, it'll be like taking off a heavy bag off their shoulders and Mac will start mentally ascending to paradise.

Mac personally thinks that bugs and insects are pretty creepy, especially those ones with many legs.. eugh.. They would absolutely hate centipedes and pill bugs, and (pre-realization) Mac would most likely shed tears to those bugs that live in furniture and Mac doesn't like how they can't really identify what they specifically are while they creep between their keycaps. (eeeyeeewww!!)

However, if you were to have a liking for these creepy-crawlies, Mac wouldn't really mind talking to you about bugs or show you illustrated insect media! Even if you'd have to find out about their dislikenesses for bugs later.. As long as you're happy and whatever they/you share isn't the real thing! (I wrote illustrated insect media for a reason..)

And finally, you get the ability to realize your object darlings and your one and only Mac! With Mac converted from 'puter and wires to flesh n' bones, they now have access to so, so much more stuff! Like facing the bugs in person. They are literally inescapable now. They've definitely seen insects in the house. The fauna living amongst the flora outside is pretty much 85% bugs. I don't think even the boats sailing at sea are safe. The best thing Mac can do is accept fate and pray with all their might not even a singular butterfly decides to pick a bone with them.
