Here is an incomplete list of pets you may commonly see on my blog. I have been really behind with sharing my info and pics of them lately, expect updates soon.
Steven Tiberius Beans. God's perfect little animal except that he needs to be walked at least twice a week or he'll scream and try to run out the door. Born July 2017. Made of morning sunbeams and cinnamon. Extremely touchable tummy. Captain of the debate team. Once very clearly yelled "fuck you" but in his defense I said it to him first. OTJ trained therapy cat but he would go to college for real if we could afford it. Gay and a misogynist toward other cats unfortunately.
Sully (Suliman) was dumped at my clinic with a bunch of other young cats. I was fostering him but failed almost immediately. He thinks everyone should love him despite the fact his favorite hobby is causing problems. He knows exactly how cute his face is and will make baby eyes at you after affectionately biting your nose. He bit through my girlfriend's vibrator charger, taught everyone to drink water with their paws and splash it everywhere (and dip kitty feets into the human beverages) and he opens the front door and plays in the yard if we don't LOCK him inside. But we love him anyway. Steve's boyfriend.
Seeker (Dreamsend Dream Seeker) was rehomed to me from sheer dumb luck Fall of 2020 because the universe knew we were meant to be together. His manner of grumbling resembles a human speech pattern with a stutter. Sweet sensitive perfect creature except that he is judgemental and has a superiority complex. Can summon small localized breezes specifically to blow his hair around, reads messages on the breeze, and occasionally dream walks to visit his friends. Born August 2014.
The following pets now live with my exes and I won't likely be posting about them anymore.
Need to add Seeker's littermates, Tara. They are both 11 years old.
And new foster fail kitten Pumpkin
Susuwatari (Susu, Soup, Soupy) is a former bottlefed foster that my sister couldn't let go of, so she gave him to my partner. Buddies with Benny. Cuddly. Gets protective of little fuzzy pompom toys. Says Eeeeh instead of meow. Born and adopted sometime in 2020. If anyone opens the fridge while he's in the kitchen he grabs their ass and yells until he is given spinach. This is known as Soup and Salad time.
Eggs Benedict (Bennifer, Bimby, Bindle etc) cannot contain his emotions. Big happy, big scared, little baby legs. Muzzle trained and slightly sedated for your safety. Plays the toddler xylophone piano. Feigns stupidity to manipulate others, has an absurd sense of humor. Built like a beanie baby but would bite a toddler over a squeaky toy. Born November 2019. In 2024 he got hit by a car and lost an eye but was otherwise unharmed. Proof that one can be divinely protected despite acting like a demon.
Former pets who have passed away but have tags on my blog include #miyoko-kitty #kweecat and whatever Aris and Cakepop's tags were, it's been a long time
Rice Pilaf the Cat is a being I met once in a dream in 2018. I took her home and quarantined her from my own cats and planned to take her to the vet in the morning. I "went to bed" and repeatedly "woke up" to confirm her existence multiple times, still adjusting to the sudden change. When I woke up in real life, ready to get her in her carrier, she was nowhere to be found. "Where is Rice Pilaf?" I asked my partner, who in my dream was not only aware of her but getting increasingly annoyed with my false wakings to check on her throughout the night. None of that had happened. She hadn't even been born yet. In 2024, I met her for real when her owner reached out to my clinic for help rehoming her as he entered hospice care. I knew I would at least foster her, but when I met this little thing called "Kitty Cat" I'd seen her before, and adopted her almost immediately. She is extremely talkative, snuggly and demanding.
