Can anyone recommend me a few slowburn Jalim fics?

After finishing the game I absolutely loved Jason and Salim's dynamic, but more as comrades rather than anything romantic considering they've only knew each other for a few hours.

I do feel like fics about them are probably sooo good, but I'm having some trouble finding what I need. Most fics have them already be into each other (explicitly) from the beginning, but it's hard for me to get into those completely since I don't see Jalim's game dynamic as explicitly romantic from the start, at least not in the "I knew right away" way.

Again, good chemistry, Salim changed Jason's entire worldview, but they were still mostly strangers (Salim was just a chill guy who realllly just wanted to go home to his son lol). Limitless potential as you can see.

If I had to rank all of the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies, I'd do:

No Way Home (do I really have to explain? Nostalgia + shit ton of Spider-Man villains + high emotional stakes)

Far From Home (I really enjoyed Mysterio as a villain - it was a great reveal, high school trip shenanigans, MJ finding out)

Brand New Day (pretty good - no spoilers - I enjoyed Peter's new "condition", "the villain"'s powers, Peter's situation with MJ and Ned)

Homecoming (I'd have to rewatch this one, but I remember really liking the simplicity of high school stuff. Wish it was the actual origin story though)

Don't hate me, but the new Spider-Man was... fine? I was expecting it to change my life with how people have been glazing it online, but it was a very standard quality Marvel movie.

Don't get me wrong, there were moments in it that I really liked, but I feel like they could've dug so much deeper. Almost everything was kept at it's usual Marvel level obviousness.

And the "Marvel cinematic universe" is really starting to piss me off. Why do they keep dropping in characters from their other movies/shows and acting like I'm supposed to know them. If you only want to watch Spider-Man and nothing extra, congrats. Here are some characters you don't know, but we'll act like they've been here since the start.

I really believe the “Armends” pun was Lestat editorializing. Not because Armand would never say that, but it’s just such a Lestat joke. I really think that he thought of it after Armand apologized and was kicking himself just waiting for another opportunity to use it, so he worked it into his retelling of Louis’ account of that evening when he was recording the Failures.
