No, the title is not a shit post, though it reads like one. But before we get into what I mean when Mandalorians use musical instruments in their writing, let me show you something.

This is a modern photo of Cuneiform script. Cuneiform is one of the oldest writing systems, dating back to the 31st century BC. It was created by pressing reed styluses like the one above into clay. The reed stylus creates wedge shaped forms as well as finer strokes or lines. 

The Mandalorian alphabet shares similar features. It uses a lot of wedges as well as distinct strokes that create a simple line. However, there are a lot more downward strokes in the Mandalorian alphabet, and in general, the Mandalorian alphabet is very rectangular in shape. 

What sort of hand motions would require so much vertical movement? Swords.

Okay, look. I know the dynamic of codywan is usually ‘big strong Cody’ taking care of ‘angst obi-wan’ and some people are tired of it or don’t like it.

But listen okay listen. It’s because Obi-wan deserves to be taken care of. He had to take care and of cover for ‘maverick pain in the shebs Jin’ who regularly left him alone to his own devices, be it planetary war or not.

Then Jin dies and he has to raise angy Anakin with issues okay. The fact that he then went to lead a third of the galactic army is just something to throw on the pile.

What I’m saying is that the sad man Obi-Wan Kenobi deserves to be cared for like the princess he is.

Who wasn't? I mean this quite literally. The Jedi, the GAR, the neutral systems, everyone was dependent on the Senate because of the amount of power they held, which was a political issue and not a Jedi issue.

Again. SECRET SITH IN THE SENATE. Manipulating everything. What exactly did you want them to do here? Who exactly would you believe in these scenarios?

No. The Senate had a slave army. The Jedi were conscripted to fight in it, which arguably makes them slaves as well.

"They didn't help Anakin with his fears or his mom or Padmé!"

Um they literally tried on multiple occasions. Obi-Wan tried repeatedly, only to be rebuffed. Then he tried the "leave him alone and hope he comes to me" strategy, which also was rebuffed. Yoda once offered Jedi Therapy and Anakin just went on a rant about how he doesn't want anyone to die ever, and when Yoda was like "well that's kinda unavoidable" Anakin dismissed him.

"They had child soldiers!"

Yeah, this one probably wasn't the best, but I get it. What else are you supposed to do with those kids? They've been raised with the Jedi their whole lives, you can't just turn them loose, and presumably they need combat training if they're eventually going to get conscripted into said slave army. However, you know who really did have a child soldier? You guessed it. QUI-GON FUCKING JINN.

TL;DR

The Jedi were right and 99% of the things they get blamed for are the fault of the Senate, Palpatine, or Qui-Gon Jinn.

MORE THREATENINGLY Raw wheat can carry E. Coli. However, if you don’t mind making your own cookie dough, you can easily make it safely.

Take your standard recipe. Omit the eggs. Eggs serve as a binding agent to hold the cookie together. Since we’re eating the dough raw, that’s not needed. Take the flour, put it in a pan and bake it at 350 for 7 minutes. Any E. Coli is now dead.

Just mix the rest of the ingredients together as the recipe is called for and BAM, perfectly safe edible cookie dough.

Hi! I wanna try this Solo Leveling request which could potentially become a story! If you don’t like it, could you at least tell me why deny it?

Anyway, Jinwoo x Fem Alternate-Universe Shadow Monarch Reader Platonic! Jinwoo accidentally stumbles onto an alternate reality where instead of him being favored by the System and gaining shadow-like powers, a young girl around Jinah’s age does so. Although kind, far too polite and shy outside of battle, when in battle, she’s all serious, merciless, and her brain goes overdrive thinking up strategies, weaknesses, etc. She’s still strong physically but far more weaker physically and in terms of experience compared to Jinwoo. In exchange, her greatest strength is more for her intelligence and as a tactician, spotting minor things that could be weaknesses, taking the environment in consideration to her advantage, finding loopholes, and fighting alongside her Shadows for combo attacks, so she could be intellectually smarter than Jinwoo.

If possible, I would find it interesting if like if Igris is Jinwoo’s knight, Fem S/O’s knight could be Baruka, that ice elf Jinwoo failed to resurrect as one of his Shadows. She probably won by outsmarting him and his clan with her own army. Fem S/O could be like Jinwoo, considered an E-Rank when she is at least an A-Rank or close to being S-Rank herself but she prefers nobody find that out and will try making that her secret like using a magic item to hide her stats in case someone tries to analyze her with some skill. Plus this way, she can be sneaky and everyone will underestimate her until it’s too late.

What’s sad is that Fem S/O had been mistreated by others her whole life, by her abusive family who believe she’s pathetic and ugly when she’s at least average pretty, bullied by students at school with the teachers looking the other way, nobody helping her at all thus S/O never receiving any love. She’s even kicked out and forced to live in a tent in a forest (like Tohru from Fruit Basket) when she had first awakened and wanted to save her money from adventuring instead of handing it all to her parents. The only thing going on for her is her trying to find happiness and genuine kindness in the future and saving up money for anything important like a house.

She’s still so sweet and kind that even her own Shadows worry for her and is protective towards their cinnamon roll master. She and Jinwoo might have some mentor/student or sibling-like relationship. If possible, Jinwoo might actually be able to take her back with him and adopt her into the family.

Percy gets mistaken for a nymph (PJO)

Okay so this is a time travel, shot back into the past, you walked into the wrong room at the wrong time kinda foolery(aka: Ancient Greece/Rome). But Annabeth is here too.

So a quest gone wrong or is the quest, pull in for a favour, Hera did something in their sleep again. They both ended in the past is what happened but not at the same place but instead where their parent is most connected to by nature or place, okay not most but something like that. And they are separated.

I have the idea that Annabeth is in the city of Athens phasing out of a statue from the most strongest temple, and is on insta alert, everyone is shocked that some girl just appeared out of nowhere from a statue of Athena. Annabeth is just trying to recollect what happened in the past 10 minutes to get her in this situation before it catches up to her that Percy isn’t here with her, and some guy in very old Greece priest uniform yapping about a blessed miracle child(who could that be?>?) she decides to leave the temple to get a better view of her situation and hide.

Everyone is chasing after her, someone sent a guard to tell the king that Athena has a child. Annabeth has to find where Percy is, and fast.

Now Percy, he appears in dead centre nymph territory, (forming from water maybe) every nymph is curious on this clearly nymph but a boy situation. They believe that Percy is a nymph, Percy himself wants to leave but the nymphs are like ‘no don’t go, you’ve been literally just born 2 seconds ago’ so any attempts on leaving just get foiled immediately by an older nymph. Percy is always getting distracted by some task to do, so he has limited amount of escape time as well.

Percy just wants to find Annabeth and get the quest over with, he’s not a nymph!

Btw they are both hella pretty, so for Annabeth, when she decides to go to the palace(I guess) when she figures out that Percy is in [insert island or area needed to travel by boat] she gets looked down upon(because she’s a woman) but then she does something badass(I don’t want to say a fight because it’s always a fight) and gets the respect she deserves. While Percy is just trying to leave the place, and always having to feel Bonita from the other nymphs putting something shiny in his hair or have an outfit change, while constantly wishing Annabeth was here with him.

They both catch eyes of either the same or different gods, they will try or have severely hurt a god/goddess for the other due to this.

If anyone wants to they can add on to this, I’m just throwing my 2 cents of idea out there.

I Just Don't Get the Serena/AmourShipping Hate... (Please, Let's Stop)

Okay, I need to get this off my chest. I genuinely don't understand the intense hate directed towards Serena and AmourShipping. Plus it’s getting really really old!

Serena is one of my absolute favorite Pokémon characters. Her journey of self-discovery, her determination, and her unwavering support for Ash? It's all so inspiring! She's kind, talented, and her growth throughout XY/XYZ was phenomenal.

And AmourShipping? It's just...adorable.

The way they connected, the subtle hints, the clear affection they had for each other? It was so sweet and genuine! I loved watching their relationship develop.

So, why the hate? Why the constant negativity? I've seen:

* People saying she's "clingy" when she was supportive.

* People saying she's "boring" when she had a fantastic character arc.

* People saying AmourShipping is "forced" when it was built up naturally.

* And just general, mean-spirited comments that are just... unnecessary.

It honestly makes me so sad. Like, can't we just enjoy what we love? Why does it have to be a constant battle? I don't understand why people feel the need to tear down something that brings others joy.

I love Serena. I love AmourShipping. And seeing so much hate makes me feel like I can't even express that without being attacked.

It's undeniable that every fandom has its share of… passionate individuals. And yes, that includes the Pokémon community. While I acknowledge that some Serena and AmourShipping fans can be, shall we say, a bit intense, it's also crucial to recognize that this behavior isn't exclusive to them.

Here's the thing: Every other PokéGirl and every other Ash ship has its own vocal and sometimes toxic supporters. Yet, the spotlight of criticism seems to disproportionately shine on Serena and AmourShipping. This creates an unfair and frankly, exhausting dynamic.

Instead of focusing on the negativity, let's explore a more productive approach:

* Acknowledge the positive: Every PokéGirl and every ship has its merits. Let's celebrate what we love about each character and pairing, rather than fixating on their perceived flaws.

* Promote respectful dialogue: Instead of engaging in heated debates, let's strive for respectful conversations. We can express our preferences without tearing down others' favorites.

* Encourage creative expression: Let's channel our passion into positive outlets like fanart, fanfiction, and thoughtful discussions. Let's create content that celebrates the characters and ships we love.

* Recognize the diversity of opinions: Fandoms are diverse spaces with a wide range of perspectives. Let's respect those differences and avoid generalizations.

* Call out toxic behavior, regardless of the target: If we see toxic behavior, regardless of who it's directed at, let's call it out. Let's create a culture where everyone feels welcome and respected.

* Focus on what brings us joy: At the end of the day, fandoms are supposed to be fun. Let's prioritize the aspects that bring us joy and minimize our exposure to negativity.

* Understand that it’s fiction: It is a cartoon, and these are fictional characters. It’s okay to have opinions, but it is not okay to attack people over a cartoon.

Let’s try to remember that we are all fans of the same franchise, and we should be able to enjoy it without being attacked for our preferences.

Cyllene watches the young man, and he watches right back. 

There’s a caution in his amber eyes, eyes much too old for the sixteen year old who bears them. He watches her like she’s the enemy. Watches her like he’s waiting for her to lash out. Watches her like she’s a ghost. 

Like she’s familiar.

Even if she wanted to, his beast of a Pikachu would kill her before she had the chance. 

At first glance, Cyllene had been sure the boy had a Raichu draped over his shoulders. A Raichu that looked so at home wrapped around this human. The beast was massive, and dwarfed Akari’s Pikachu as if it was a Pichu. The two didn’t even seem to be the same species. 

This Pikachu was a hulking, narrow-eyed, scarred thing, battle wounds worn like the stars Cyllene so seldomly bequeathed. Old, odd red scars burned a long-healed pattern into its flesh, circles with branching lines situated on its forehead and stomach. The fur on its tail had been worn away over time, now a razor’s edge raised in warning.  

Its cheeks sparked red with cursed lightning. 

The boy wasn’t much better. 

His flimsy clothes did nothing to hide the array of old injuries; lacerations, burns, gouges, bites, and a particularly harsh lichtenberg figure that carved through his right palm and up his arm. 

How could this boy bear all the brutality of Pokémon and still treat this monstrous Pikachu as a brother? How could he be so calm with Laventon’s three research subjects so lovingly wrapped around his legs, or cradled in his arms? 

Cyndaquil’s flames could erupt without warning, scorching the boy’s leg in seconds. 

Oshawott could take its scalchop and slash through his achilles tendon, crippling him without a thought.

Rowlet was so close to his throat, it could tear through the skin and muscle and vasculature and there’d be no time to save him. 

Instead of fear, the boy's cautious expression would deepen to sadness when he looked at them. Standing there like these beasts were old friends.

He stood there like his life wasn’t in the hands of others.

Cyllene was wary.

This boy falls from the sky, no word on his origins or how he came to be here, just that he had Fallen from Heaven’s Fracture. 

This was an omen, she knew. An omen for better or for worse, and it was up to her to decide if Jubilife Village’s fate would rest on his shoulders. Give this Fallen free range over her home and risk the sky’s wrath? Or cast him out, and risk forsaking the cure so mercifully proffered?   

In the end, she could only test him. 

And in the end, she could only show Ashura his new home.
