Hope life is treating you well after all these things and your regulars are coming in for a nice cup of their favourite beverage~ 🫶
Speaking of regulars with their beverages, what’s your opinion on the Lookism cast favourites? Like, what would they order the most~? 🍵☕️
☄.⊹ Hai hai hai V~! Thankfully, things have been smooth at the lounge lately—your kind wishes mean the world to me, dear 💖
Ahhh, so you're curious about some of the more exclusive blends my regulars like to sip on? (chuckles softly) Well, well, you've got a refined sense of curiosity, I see. Some of these are delightfully indulgent, while others. . . hmm, let’s just say they cater to more adventurous palates. But who am I to judge a customer’s craving? (wink) I’d be more than happy to share the list with you—i'll only be mentioning those who frequently/often visit me though huhu~
ahh yes, it's a pride of mine to admit that the lounge has attracted even the infamous regional kings khukhu~mostly thanks to a very frequent regular of mine Kwak Jichang, who usually orders a nice warm cup of black drip coffee ☕ with a splash of milk—or, when he's feeling bold, a rich dark mocca 🫗. A sophisticated flavor that surprisingly has a delicate touch, just like when he—(AHEM) huh, pardon me. must've been the wind :)
next is the king of ansan himself, Ma Taesoo-ssi! You’d expect him to down pure espresso like it’s liquid resolve, right? (And trust me, he can.) But to my pleasant surprise, the man has a refined appreciation for a truly comforting cup of tea. His usual order is a strong, smoky roasted oolong 🍵 infused with dried citrus peels and kissed with a spoonful of honey — something warm, steady, and gentle on the throat, yet brightened by a fragrant citrus tang. It’s smooth, grounding, and quietly elegant… a drink that lingers the way good memories do. (a/n: I tried this combo in real life, and no exaggeration — it’s insanely good. If you love aromatic tea, give it a try!)
Na Jaegyeon, hahh . . . y'know he's the type to order straight black coffee, no syrups, no sugar, just something that has the taste equivalent to jet fuel, thinking it'd impress any woman that catches his eye~ 🙄 trust me, he did, once. and never again, pffft—anyways, he usually visits at night where coffee and tea are replaced with much more . . . mature blends. He comes in, acts like we're old confidants, and orders a crisp french 75 (gin 🥃, lemon juice🍋, a little bit of champange🍾, and a touch of lavender syrup🪻). he talks my ear off about his cars and those 'dirtbag kings' he still calls friends. albeit, his company is . . . quite nice, especially on quiet nights.
Ah.. Ji Gongseob, he doesn’t drop by often, but when he does… it’s almost always with Taesoo in tow. A charming duo, truly — if only their visits didn’t cost me two chairs and a perfectly good display window each time. (Sigh… the joys of hosting kings, I suppose.) Still, I can’t complain too much. He’s got a bit of a sweet tooth, that one. His go-to comfort? A vanilla milkshake 🧁 blended silky-smooth with dark cookie crumbs, turning that gentle creaminess into something indulgently rich and surprisingly endearing (shrugs) quite fitting, if you ask me. And don’t get me started on boba tea 🧋. I don’t usually stray from the menu… but for special customers and special moments, I suppose I can be convinced to break a rule or two. 😉
Seokdu Wang. Out of all the kings, he’s probably the one who visits the least… at least, not on his own. He usually only turns up when the others drag him along for a little “mini gathering,” which isn’t exactly a frequent occurrence. Still, his rare appearances are always memorable. I do recall one particularly… interesting order I crafted just for him. A fusion between a Cucumber Spritz 🍸 and Le Boh Timun 🥒 a traditional Indonesian refreshment made from finely shredded cucumber with a squeeze of lime or calamansi 🍋🟩. Light, cooling, incredibly clean on the tongue… then finished with the graceful bite of gin to ground the sweetness. Refreshing, sharp, and a little indulgent. Hmph. One of my finest creations, if I do say so myself. ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ .✦ ݁˖
Not many of the second generation wander into this side of town, though every now and then, Daniel and Hudson make their quiet appearances. Rarely together, instead, they tend to drift in on their own accord. Daniel, though… he might just be my second favorite customer.
He’s always so open to trying whatever strange little experiment I’ve brewed up that week. Curious, patient, and surprisingly brave when it comes to drinks. If I had to narrow it down, he has a soft spot for my frappé blends 🍺. From sweet, toasty caramel to something a little more refined like matcha 🍵, there’s always something new for him to savor… and always something fun for me to mix.
Hudson is a simple man. Not much of an experimental soul when it comes to drinks, but who am I to ever judge a straightforward request? <3 He’ll usually order coffee ☕, black. No frills, nothing grand. And on gentler days, he’ll allow a small packet of sugar, just enough to soften the edge without losing the bite. Simple, classy, and the kind of quiet pick-me-up that suits him perfectly. Every now and then, I like to slip a pastry onto his tray 🥐. He always insists he doesn’t need it… and yet, there’s something strangely comforting about later finding the plate completely empty. It never fails to make me smile.
