✶ chan who honestly thought he was dreaming when he saw you at the cafe. he was just trying to have a quiet moment with an iced americano, but then you walked in looking like a literal doll—ribbons in your hair, lace details on your outfit, the whole nine yards.
✶ chan who was already whipped before he even saw your bag. but then he caught sight of his own face on a pc holder dangling from your purse, and his heart actually skipped a beat. he noticed you kept peeking over, your face turning a bright shade of crimson every time you thought he might look back.
✶ chan who could tell you were trying so hard to stay composed and give him his space, which he found incredibly sweet, but you looked so nervous that he knew he had to be the one to bridge the gap. when he finally walked up to your table, his own palms were a little sweaty.
✶ chan who just gave you that classic, dimpled grin and said, "i really like your bag... and the guy on it has pretty good taste in fans, too." you looked like you were about to evaporate into thin air, but when you shyly managed to tell him your name, he knew he wasn't letting you go without your number.

You followed Felix to the washroom, grabbing some paper towel once you were inside, and standing at the mirror, dabbing at the blood.
“Let me do it:” Felix ordered softly, wetting the towel, wiping away the blood.
You sat obediently, before words stumbled out of you on their own accord. “What’s going to happen to him?”
“I’m not sure.” Felix confessed. “But we’re all pretty mad on your behalf, so you probably won’t see him again.”
The two of you sat in silence for a while, until the blood was cleared from your skin, and you decided to fix your hair. It was a conflicting thing, the boys doing harm to your boss. On the one hand, you could empathize with your boss, and felt that no one should go through whatever it was that was happening. However, you knew that the boys would be happier once they were done, and all the people that man harassed would be free. You ultimately decided not to intervene, because no matter what, you actions would be directly causing someone displeasure.
After a long silence, Felix spoke. “Are you upset?”
You glanced at him, before smiling brightly. “Nope. Just thinking.” You answer honestly, tightening your ponytail and straightening your uniform.
Felix seemed somewhat pleasantly surprised, the thought alone made you feel a little bit better about allowing a man to die. “I figured you’d be bothered.”
“I mean, I am? But if I make you stop, then you’ll all be sad, and all the people my boss bothers will go on being mad. Even though not doing anything is also not doing good, it leaves me out of a lose-lose situation.”
Felix nodded at your strange logic, grateful and intrigued by the serene energy you gave. “You need to learn to have opinions.” He said with a sigh, tucking your hair back.
“I know.”
“And to say no.”
“I know.”
“But?”
“But I’ve heard it all before. I’ve been told I’m easy to manipulate, that I’m going to live my life for others, that I’m being used. But I can’t bring it to myself to care. I wanna be easy to like.”
The two of you sat in silence for far too long before Felix spoke.
“Has anyone ever made you think you were hard to like?”
You shook your head slowly, feeling incredibly vulnerable.
“Darling, I need you to look at me.” His hand tilted your face up, forcing your eyes to meet his. “You are allowed to be someone. You don’t need to make yourself smaller when people won’t make enough space for you.”
His lips pressed to yours gently, and you melted into him. Felix wrapped his arms around your waist his hold firm but gentle, pulling you impossibly closer.
When he finally pulled away, you blushed brightly, frozen with disbelief.
“I’m sorry. I should’ve asked.” He spoke the moment you separated.
“Uh, no, um… your fine…” You mumbled, your tone filled with shock.
Felix breathed out, relieved. “The guys are gonna be so jealous.” He grinned, and you tilted your head with confusion.
He tucked your hair back, saying nothing to clarify. “Cute. Anyways, I think we should go back out now.”
You didn’t reply, but you followed him back into the kitchen, where the boys were lounging. You glanced out at the restaurant, grateful it was still empty.
You looked back to the boys and Jisung immediately hugged you. “Are you alright? Did Felix make it better?” He spoke quickly, Felix spoke up for you.
“She tidied herself up a bit. I didn’t do much beyond tidying the nosebleed.”
Jisung stared at him with wide eyes. “Yah. Yongbok, how could you?”
You meant to ask why he was so offended, but you were a tad distracted the moment Jisung had a hand under your shirt, against the bruises forming on your ribs.
You stiffened with nerves, watching the man move a hand across the wounds on your torso, before cupping your face to run his thumb over any others there. “Jagiya, Felix really should’ve done this.”
“It’s not my fault. You want her to find out?” Felix countered, but watched Jisung’s hands with a sharp gaze.
Jisung ignored the freckled boy, kissing your forehead gently. “All better.” He cooed, staring at you fondly, while you stayed quiet.
This entire situation, decidedly, was the most confusing thing that had ever occurred. You didn’t like to question what others did, something you hadn’t done since you were a little girl, living with the idea that it would still happen wether you knew what it was or not, so why ask? On the other hand, why was it that all the aching was gone, replaced with a soft pulse? What did Felix mean ‘find out’? You didn’t realize how long you were immersed in thought until someone spoke.
“Bunny? You with us?” Changbin asked, waving a hand in front of your eyes playfully.
You smiled softly. “Yeah sorry, just zoned out.”
He smiled back, before chan spoke up.
“I think you have a few new customers. The boys and I are gonna have a quick chat, so feel free to go deal with them.”
You were more confused now. They seemed a bit suspicious, sending you away while planning to have a secret meeting. You knew you weren’t a part of their relationship, so you chose not to question it, returning to the front of the restaurant to work.
Skz POV
“What happened?”
All eyes were immediately on Felix, sensing his energy. The freckled boy way practically vibrating with joy.
Minho raised a brow. “So? Talk or we’re gonna serve fried chicken”
“We kissed.” Felix admitted, grinning widely. “Well, I kissed her and got all flustered but said I was ok.”
There was a brief pause before they erupted into chatter.
“I wanted to kiss her first!”
“I didn’t know we were allowed…”
“Can I go next?”
Chan clapped his hands rhythmically like a teacher, drawing all eyes to him.
“Why did you kiss her?” The oldest asked, and Felix paused. “Ah, she guessed that you were going to kill that guy, and I told her probably. She didn’t say anything after that, which lead to a chat about her being way to nice, like how she never seems to prioritize herself,” The others mumbled discontentedly, agreeing with the statement.”
“Get on with it.” Seungmin instructed.
“Right. So I was getting all worked up about how she needs to let herself be someone. Then, I just kissed her. I dunno, I was frustrated because I don’t know how to convince her she’s worth it, So I kissed her like that would convey what I wanted to say.”
There was a brief pause among the group, as the gods took in what he said. They were stuck. All of them could agree that they would’ve done the same, but no one knew how to move forward.
Jisung broke the silence. “When you kissed her, did she, like, seem uncomfortable. Was it a good reaction?”
“She wasn’t stiff.” Felix mused, like the kiss was some sort of experiment. “She sort of gave in immediately. Didn’t kiss back, but not upset I think. And she said it was ok after so, I take that as an invitation.” He nodded.
Hyunjin raised his hand and Felix called on him.
“Do you think that’s a you specific invitation? Or all of us?” Hyunjin asked, only for Chan to interrupt.
“Guys.” He sighed. “That does not mean you can kiss her whenever you like. Getting caught up in the moment isn’t good, but it’s an excuse. You should always ask.” The oldest lectured, and Hyunjin and Felix were quick to the defence.
“I meant that our relationship is now in that place where it wouldn’t be out of place for me to ask.” Felix rushed, and Hyunjin nodded frantically.
“Yeah, I was just wondering if that extended to-“ He paused when a light knock came on the swinging kitchen door.

You had always grown up doing everything in your power to be kind. With you, no one else was ever wrong, you never told anyone when they were being cruel, and there wasn’t anything you wouldn’t do for someone unhappy. This had its ups and downs, living with plenty of people that adored you for how sweet you were, while most would take advantage, getting you to do anything for them.
This was fine, a normal part of your life, to the point where you did it unconsciously. You owned a small, ratty apartment, that you had moved into when the landlord told you how desperately he needed more tenants, or he would go broke, so you lived there, regardless of the quality. You worked in an understaffed diner, working shifts that normally would’ve been split between at least three people, but you didn’t act bothered.
You came to work in the morning, just as you always did, early enough to clean the place before opening. It was another long day, and you had to multitask, filling in for the kitchen staff all morning long. It wasn’t until long into the afternoon you seemed to be allowed to breath, with no orders to take and no food to serve. You took a long sip of your coffee, allowing yourself to rest for a moment, before the door opened, and you turning back to help the customers with your smile on.
SKZ pov
The eight of them were visiting earth, bored with just watching, so they came down to Seoul. Felix suggested they go to a quiet restaurant, where humans wouldn’t keep bothering them, so they all agreed, finding there way to the shitty part of town where everyone knew to mind their own business. Han lead them into a particular rundown diner, without many customers.
The moment they stepped inside, they shared a look, confused by the strange energy. This makes no sense. Chan muttered to the others telepathically. It’s so… sweet? But that doesn’t make much sense. Everyone here has such miserable energy, and there’s no way one person did this. Changbin replied, and the others all agreed.
They sat at a booth, looking at the menus, until the waitress came to get their drink order. She walked over, and the boys immediately exchanged a glance. It was rare for them to care how a human looked, but they were all obsessed with her beauty, not to mention her energy. The soft waves of positivity radiated off her in waves, like an island in the sea. “Hey. How are all of you doing today?” She asked genuinely, smiling at them kindly as she approached. Chan was the first to reply. “We’re all fine.” “You look tired, how long have you been working today?” Seungmin interrupted, without hesitation. She looked a bit surprised, then bashful. “Do I look tired? I’m so sorry.” She bowed, and the boys exchanged another confused look. “I just wanna know how long you’ve been working.” Seungmin told her, gentle in the way one would speak to a scared animal. “Oh. I started at five thirty.” She told them pleasantly, and Jeongin widened his eyes. “But it’s four. You’ve been working for ten and a half hours?” The others nodded, mirroring his disbelief. You smiled “No, I just had lots to do.” “Like what?” Minho countered, and she pursed her lips thoughtfully. “Hmm. I clean the whole place in the morning and bake pastries for selling before we open.” “Isn’t there a chef for that?” “They don’t like to come in early.” The boys just stared. “Then I open up, and I’m usually alone for a while so I cook, serve and clean.” She stared off thoughtfully. “Then I do regular things till closing.” She smiled at them.
There was a beat where all of the boys just sat in disbelief. “Without break?” Jisung asked, and the waitress nodded. “Anyways, are you ready to order drinks?” She asked kindly, and they all agreed and ordered, speaking to moment she left.
“That was weird.” Changbin stated the moment she walked away. “It explains the energy.” Hyunjin noted, and they all hummed in agreement. Minho sighed “She was weirdly nice.” “But like, in an honest way.” Felix added. “Well. I’m intrigued.” Han spoke, and no one disagreed.
YN POV
Those boys were back again. Since you had met them a few weeks ago, they came everyday, sometimes not all as a group, but you saw all eight everyday.
“Morning boys. What can I get for you today?” You asked brightly as you approached the table.
They all smile at you. “Hey doll. Can I get a root beer float?” Jisung asked cheerfully, and you nodded, writing it down. The others told you their order, and when you came back, they were all chattering away.
“Ynnie, can I get your number?” Felix asked suddenly as you were setting the drinks down. You paused for a moment. “Alright.” Felix grinned at your reply. It’s XXXXXXXXXX.” You watched as he put it in his phone and then sent the number to the others without hesitation.
From then on, you hung out with them more often, getting walked home from work, and spending the few off hours you had texting them. You had been friends with them for a few months before everything changed.
“Why the fuck are you late?” Your boss shouted, slapping you across the face. He was drunk. The way he spoke was slurred, but he was far from disabled.
“I’m sorry. I was helping my neighbour bring in her groceries.” You apologized softly, bowing your head.
Your boss grabbed you by the hair, forcing you to kneel on the floor, and you went easily. “I don’t want your excuses. I had to open the diner this morning, and costumers were complaining about the filth. You need to do your fucking job.”
“I’m so sorry. I’ll come even earlier from now on.” You promised, hands folded in your lap. You just had to wait for him to get his anger out. Better on you than the customers.
He kicked you in the ribs sharply, and you bit back any reaction. “You better. And you’re working later today. You can’t leave till it’s spotless.” He sneered, kicking you again, this time in the cheek.
You nodded “Of course.” You agreed quietly, your breath hitching as his foot landed on your jaw.
“Stand up bitch.” He swore, pulling you up by your hair. Your eyes met his as you stood, and he seemed to take this as defiance, his fist hitting your square in the face. You would’ve fallen to the ground completely if it wasn’t for him pulling your hair.
“Um, really hate to interrupt, but is he bothering you?” A familiar voice came, and your boss snapped his eyes over, where the eight boys were leaning against the counter, watching through the kitchen door with unreadable expressions.
Your boss scoffed gruffly. “I’m just teaching my employee a lesson.” He said, feeling completely secure in what he did. You stayed silent, keeping your gaze on the floor, as blood dripped from your nose onto the tiles.
The boys came round the counter, letting themselves into the kitchen. “It looks to me like you’re being rather rude.” Chan continued, as the boys walked over to you nonchalantly.
“You have no right to question my authority.” You boss argued, his face turning redder with anger. “This is an employee only space.”
You heard the sound of skin on skin, as Felix smacked your boss’s hand away from your hair, and then pulled you a few steps away from him.
“What, are you all this whore’s boyfriends?” The middle-aged man yelled, while the boys temporarily ignored him.
“You alright Angel?” Felix asked softly, and you nodded, smiling comfortingly even as the blood ran down your face.
You heard a soft sigh from Jisung. “Listen, you aren’t ok. He just beat the shit out of you. Go with Felix and get cleaned up.” He instructed, and you nodded, as the boy in question grabbed your hand and began walking towards the washrooms.
Skz pov
It was safe to say they were fuming, after seeing just a brief bit of the abuse she had received. Felix left to get help her out, and all the softness in their expressions melted away, turning to cold fury.
It had occurred to them a while ago that it was strange, this obsession they had with a human, but she wasn’t like the other human, simply because she was theirs, officially or no.
“Hyung… it’s been a while since we messed anyone up. Can we change that?” Seungmin asked, and Chan nodded.
Minho spoke up briefly “Don’t make it to messy. She can’t find out.

Yandere Hyunjin
You sat awkwardly on the couch across from your new neighbours, wishing you hadn’t invited them in. The couple was smiling, but was clearly as uncomfortable as you were, as you fiddled with the gift basket they had given you as a welcome. “We’re just really excited to get to know you as neighbours. We trust you’ll be a good citizen.” The wife said, trying to break the silence, and you smiled back, nodding. “I’ll do my best.” You promised, although not entirely clear of what you were promising. You jumped as an alarm on your phone went off, and you checked it. “Sorry, that was just a reminder. I have a job interview, so I do need to go. I’m so grateful you chose to stop by.” You said as quickly as you could, standing, and the neighbours thanked you for your hospitality, before leaving, as you got ready for your interview.
•••Time skip•••
The interview had gone surprisingly well, mostly thanks to another employee being fired, leaving an open space for you. Your new boss instructed you to start Monday, at a small art cafe in downtown Seoul. All you needed to do was work as a barista while the patrons painted or sculpted at one of the many tables, which wouldn’t be to hard. On Monday morning, you got ready early, tying your hair into a French twist, stabbing a pencil through it, as you put on a pair of baggy jeans and a sweater, pushing the sleeves up to your elbows, and then went to work. You got there, spending about half an hour being mentored by another staff member, before you relieved her from her shift, and put on your own apron. You worked, barely noticing the customers when you weren’t taking their order, gliding around the kitchen gracefully as you put drinks together, completely unaware of the set of eyes drilling into you.
Hyunjin POV
This new barista, or, he was sure she was new, after all, he would’ve noticed her sooner. She had no name tag as she seemed to dance behind the counter, putting drinks together with the sweetest smile for all the customers. Hyunjin left his sketchbook on the table, leaving a half finished sketch of a koi pond on display as he walked to the counter, waiting for her to take his order. In only seconds she had given the order she was working in to the patron that had ordered it, and then spun back to where he was, smiling brightly at him. “Hi, what can I get you?” She asked, her voice almost sending him to his knees, soft and sweet, like a melody. He smiled back at her charmingly, before he spoke. “Can I just have an iced americano and your name?” He asked, and her cheeks reddened a bit. “I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you.” She said kindly, and rang up his order. “Nice to meet you, I’m Hyunjin.” He replied, tapping his black card on the screen to pay for the drink. She smiled, and spun off to make his order. Hyunjin watched her work, and soon, she pressed the drink into his hand, smiling, and then going to take the next order. He went back to the table, continuing his art, although his eyes kept trailing back to her. He found himself staying at the cafe for longer than usual, until her shift was over.
Your POV
You began your walk home, at noon, you had a certain pep in your step, rather pleased with the energy of your new job. You returned to your apartment, singing to yourself softly as you pulled out your computer, working on another online assignment of your university course. You found yourself skipping lunch, and eating a bowl of instant noodles, before you closed your computer at ten in the evening. You put your work away, took a shower, and then went to bed, reminding yourself you had taken on a good deal of shifts in this new job.
***Time skip***
Your shift started later the next day, so you had time to do your assignments of the day, before rushing off to the Cafe at noon, to switch shifts with your coworker. Before you had officially been employed, your boss had told you that it’s a small business, so you and your fellow barista alternate morning and afternoon, taking either opening or closing shift. You tagged off with your coworker, who clearly had somewhere to be with the speed she was leaving, and you began your shift, wearing a flowing floral white skirt, and a lacy brown tank top.
Hyunjin POV
The morning barista had been different than next day; the same woman as usual, and so he came back at the shift change. He sat at his usual table, opening his sketchbook, as you stepped behind the counter like some kind of gift from god. Her hair, braided back, so he could see even more of her face, clear skin and bright eyes. Her outfit was different today, more feminine, although she had made both outfits look divine. He found himself sketching her on his page gently, taking care to capture her perfectly. Naturally, his drawing wasn’t nearly as perfect as she was in person, but it would be nearly impossible to capture her on paper. He approached the counter, smiling. “Oh! Hyunjin, from yesterday, right?” Yn said, her eyes brightening with recognition as she faced him. The sound of his name on her lips was enough to make him melt, but he held himself together, even as she returned his smile. “Mhm. And you’d be yn.” He said, casually, his eyes tracing her features like his life depends on it. “That’s me!” She beamed so widely, it made his heart skip a beat. This was going to be a problem. “Can I get an iced Americano, and maybe know your shift schedule?” He asked, not wanting to risk missing her. “And why’s that?” She asked, more curiosity than suspicion, as she input his order. “I’ve tried lots of Iced Americano, and yours is the best I’ve had, so I don’t wanna take my coffee break when you aren’t around.” He said with a shrug, although it was only partly true. It was the best drink he’d ever had, but, granted, anything made by her would most definitely be. “There are only two of us baristas here, so we alternate morning and afternoon. I do the weekend afternoons, because I have in person school in the mornings, then I do Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, and so on until we’re back we’re we started.” She smiled brightly, and he nodded, feigning nonchalance, while commuting every word to memory. Gods, this couldn’t be healthy. He tapped his card, unbothered, as she begun dancing around to make the coffee. “So you’re in school? What’s your major?” He asked, in a tone that sounded like friendly conversation. “Literature. I know it sounds lame, but I wanna be an author.” You said with a soft laugh. “That’s amazing. When you publish something, let me know. I’ll be the first to buy.” He said, grinning at her, and she blushed, before handing him the cup. “I’m guessing I’ll see you again tomorrow? If you like the Americano so much?” She said softly, and he nodded, and then went back to his table, sketching her over and over again until the café closed.
***Time skip***
He thought it was just a crush. A weirdly intense crush, maybe a new muse, but the next morning, when he came in and she had his iced Americano ready at his table, he was gone. “On the house.” She said sweetly when he raised and eyebrow at the coffee. At that point there was no way to deny it, he needed her. The obsession grew a bit more…. Concerning, step by step, following her home, stalking her social, nothing major though. He was just keeping her safe, and getting to know her.
Your POV
Everyday, for the first month of work, Hyunjin was there, your entire shift, chatting with you sometimes, and sometimes just letting you work. It was comforting, seeing him everyday. He shared a bit about him self, whenever you asked, you considered him a friend. “Hyunjinnie!” You said cheerfully when he stepped in. “This morning, our baker was late, so I got to make stuff! D’you want one?” You beamed at him and he nodded with a smile. “Of course. Anything you make is bound to be good.” He complimented, and you blushed, handing him a lemon scone and his coffee. “Thanks princess.” He said, leaning against the counter as he sipped his coffee. “So, you bake often?” He asked, as you took someone else’s order. “Not much anymore, but when I was a kid, my mum owned a bakery. That’s why they let me make the food.” You said as you began to prep the order. “Cool. It’s good, you should bake more often.” Hyunjin said, and you giggled. “I would but I don’t have anyone to bake for.” You said, handing the customer their order. “So bake for me.” He said, and you smiled. “Maybe.” You kept working, and he went to his usual table, drawing again. You finished your shift and he walked you out. “So, I was wondering, can I get your number?” He asked, grinning at you, and you nodded, blushing, before exchanging numbers with him.
Hyunjin POV
Maybe he had been a bit hasty, asking for her number, but she had agreed, so it was alright. His plan was getting a bit more blurred with each new revelation. The latest, of course, was her diary, that sat under her pillow. He found it the first time he broke into her house, to get to know her better, and it was sitting there, like a gift. He started at the most recent entry, leafing through it gently.
Dear Diary,
I’m confused. Being in Korea is so different. I don’t know if moving here was a good idea, but I can’t go back. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to move so far. I haven’t made any friends or anything, apart from Hyunjin, but I’m not sure if that counts. If I was better at talking to people, I’m sure I’d have more friends, but not even my professors can remember me. Maybe I could move again, but then I’d need to go job hunting, get a new apartment, find a new school. I’m in an ok place now, even if I’m lonely. I’ll stay for a while, and see how it goes.
-yn
Hyunjin sighed as he read. It felt oddly intimate to be allowed into her thoughts like this. He prayed that she wouldn’t leave, ever, and he could stay with her. At least, he thought, if she didn’t have anyone else there was no reason to be jealous. He left swiftly, forcing himself to be done, invading enough for the day.

When you wake up, the boys seem to have discovered the game console, playing Mario Kart, while Jisung and Hyunjin argue over who gets the next turn. You stand up, unnoticed in the chaos, wandering to your room to get dressed in something better than your pyjamas. You dig into your suitcase to find something nice, choosing a light brown plaid skirt and a light pink oversized sweater. You decorate your hair with some bows, and put on some jewelry, before wandering out and sitting back on the couch.
You sit quietly, the boys now laying on Jeongin in an effort to praise him for winning. You glance around, calm, smoothing down your nude tights as you look for your phone. You spot it, standing to grab it off the tv stand. You pick it up, and the boys notice you’re awake, and changed. “Woah! She transformed!” Jisung exclaimed, voice pressed from being beneath some of the others. Felix rolls off the top of the pile, standing and hugging you. “Yah, you look adorable sunshine.”. You blush, putting your hands over your face to hide the flush. “Hey, princess. Hands down. We need to see your pretty face.” Changbin pulls your hands down, and you note that the boys have gotten up from their pile.
“I’m curious, how old are you?” Jeongin asks once everyone has gotten over their cuteness aggression. “23” You reply, and Jeongin grins. “You’re just a baby!” Hyunjin cooed, clutching your arm. Jeongin stuck out his tongue, like now that you were the youngest, he was safe. As if to prove him wrong, Chan hugged him and began to babble at him. “So, you have anything from here that you need? Cuz we wanna get back to Korea soon.” Changbin asked, looping an arm around your waist. You shake your head lightly, and he nods, texting someone quickly, and then turning back to you. “The plane will be ready in an hour. Then we’ll have you all to ourselves.” He smiled, and you blushed.
It didn’t take much time before the nine of you were at the airport, while you sat waiting for them to finish discussing with their private pilot. You sat, swinging your legs over the side of the bench, watching the busy people waiting for their planes. Before leaving, they had all kissed the top of your head, and said you should stay put, promising to come back soon. They had gone into the plane, to speak to the pilot, which left you alone. In the beginning, that is. “Hey pretty girl.” You leaned away as some man notably older than you sat right next to you. “You here alone?” He asked, his voice rough, probably from years of smoking. You shake your head, too nervous to speak, which he seemed to take as a good sign. “You don’t look like you came with a group.” He leaned closer, and you moved to the next seat over, trying to put some space between the two of you. He scoffed, grabbing the sleeve of your sweater. “Hey, is this what I get for being a nice guy? Come on doll, you gotta be polite.” You flinched away from him, unable to speak as nerves gripped your throat. You felt tears welling up in your eyes, blurring your vision. A pair of strong arms wrapped around you from behind, easing some of the tension, as Chan pulling you into his lap. “I’m sorry, is he bothering you?” Minho asked you, holding the man by the collar with a cold glare. You nod, hiding your face in Chan’ neck. “Who’re you?” The man ask gruffly, trying and failing to push Minho’s hand away. “Some of her soulmates.” Chan said cooly. “Some of? How many do you have?” The man exclaimed, frustrated. “Nine, including us.” Minho replied, cocking a brow. “Nine??? No wonder she’s such a whore!” He yelled, pushing away and stalking off. Chan shook his head at Minho, the other boy moments away from following the man. “Baby girl, you alright?” Chan murmured in your ear, holding you tight. You nodded against him, Minho stroking your hair soothingly.
You wandered onto the plane, looking around in wonder, having never been on a private jet. “My love, come sit with me.” Hyunjin called, gesturing to the empty seat next to him. You wandered over, only to be pulled into his lap. “The hyungs told us what happened. Sorry we weren’t there.” He murmured into your ear, kissing your neck gently. “It’s fine…” You reply softly, leaning into him. “No you’re not. Don’t lie to me Angel.” He held you tighter. “Fine… it was scary. I wanna sleep though.” He nods, satisfied with that response, holding you close until you fell asleep.

When her breath even out, he stood, setting her gently in the chair before joining the others at the doorway of the plane. “So, tell us the whole story. A quick ‘some guy was bothering her’ isn’t cutting it.” Seungmin demanded the moment they were all gathered. “Some old guy. Holding her sleeve, insulting and attempting to seduce her.” Chan summed up, leaning in the open doorway. Everyones eyes grew sharp, anger pulsing in through the group like a heartbeat. Felix was the first to speak “We’re gonna kill him, right?” Minho sighed. “Damn right we’re gonna kill him.“ They all got up collectively, Chan storming off to hunt him down while the others found a nice spot to kill him.

You woke up alone on the plane, confused and lonely. You peeled out the window, seeing nothing but the plane tarmac, as you began to panic a bit, driven by confusion. You wander out of the plane, back into the airport, walking to the Starbucks and sitting down with a frappe to calm your nerves.
Chan POV
They finish killing the creep, and cleaning up, before walking back to the plane. “Um, Hyunjin?” Jisung called, being the first in the plane. “What’s up?” The older boy calls back. “Where’d you put our girl?” Seungmin completes. “I just left her on the… She’s not on the plane?” Hyunjin said, eyes wide. “Clearly not.” Minho retorted as he stepped out of the plane. “What are you waiting for? Let’s go find her.” They all left, splitting up in the airport to cover more ground. Chan went furthest away from the terminals, checking all the restaurants and cafes for her nonchalantly, regardless of the worry in his chest. “Baby girl, you almost gave me a heart attack.” He said, shoulders slumping with relief as he sat down next to her. “Hey Channie. I thought you guys left. I was worried you hated me or something.” She mumbled, sipping her drink. Chan held her face in his hands, staring into her eyes. “Hey. Baby. Don’t tell yourself that. We were so worried.” He kissed her softly, before texting the boys to say he had her. “What’s your drink baby? I’ll get you another one for the plane.” He says, reading the label and buying it before she could argue.
