Hot take:

The reason Sanji became just a womanizing chad after time-skip is because he had to overcompensate his masculinity in Momoiro island. The residents preyed on every sign of femininity so acting stereotypically masculine to the point of being toxic could be both a defensive and a coping mechanism.

Fault is still Oda's for making the okama so toxic tho..
