Hugo the unfortunate Glob

Taking an old character from an old series of paintings and turning them into mini comics

This is Hugo my sentient glob character that I created at the start of my illustration degree to build my skills in character illustration and narrative. Since I’ve been focusing more on my comic practice recently I thought it was time to go back to Hugo and give him a silly light little comic series based off of my original paintings from years ago. 💚

Finished the sketching for my bigger comic project so decided to reward myself by planning a smaller comic series based around Hugo my green sentient glob character💚

Took a lil break from working on my comic but I’m so close to finishing it! Can’t wait to fully ink it and start working on the next one.

Been finding making these random object puzzle like patterns really satisfying to make. Very tempted to Lino cut them

I’ve decided this year is gonna be a good year and a lot of progression is gonna happen so I’m doing some manifesting!

Dabble in woodcut
