hi! i'm hal, i'm nineteen and i really like hal jordan! i like pretty much any dc character as well so feel free to talk to me about anything!

i use he/him pronouns and have a pretty big comic collection (around 4,000 comics), 2,000 of which are green lantern!

i'm a writer and may post my wips from time to time!

of course that you can interpret media however you want and have your own take on canon (especially with dc, considering they are... kind of a mess). but when you refuse to engage with the original material what's even the point.. you're taking these complex characters and morphing them into something bland and one-dimensional with no place for nuance, completly disregarding their dynamics to make them fit into some pretty shitty sterotypes.. do you not realize how boring that is

this this this!! its unreasonably hard to get people to read BATMAN let alone green lantern... 😭 i promise they explain everything to you. you don't need to start at detective comics 27 to read bruce wayne. i read all of DC 'the wrong way' and understood it fine (read under the red hood before a death in the family, etc).
