I just went to the BEST restaurant ever! The nicest foods, like I can’t even describe the beautiful taste! Ok, so I went there with my aunty, mum and sister, so we decided to order meals to share! (I think we ordered way too much, although we finished it all).
The first two meals that came were the Fried gochujang eggplant and the Fried Korean zucchini. They were freakin awesome! I am definitely rating these meals a “Yumm”. The Zucchini dish had a really crunchy crust and outside, but the inside was nice and soft. The eggplant meal was really crunchy and delicious, and the sauce compliments this dish perfectly. We also ordered the K.F.C(Korean Fried Chicken), look, this dish I only had one small chicken piece so I can’t really rate it, but it was still nice. My mum and I got pork sliders, the pork had a very smoky taste, and the kimchi and aioli went well with the smoky style. I would rate this a “Yumm.” Writing this, I can’t remember every mela name, so I went on the website to find out, but I can’t find one of my favourite meals. So, I will just describe it. The base of this dish was a chili rice and, with pork on top and different vegetable incorporated in this. Ugh, I am so angry I can’t find the name, but I would DEFINITELY rate this a “Yumm”. We ordered MUCH more, but I am not going to review everything because This post would turn into an essay.
I am going to have a separate paragraph for the dessert, because it truly deserves it. Ok, most of my friends know that I AM OBSESSED WITH MACARONS, they are, well now we're my favourite desserts, but after I tried this, my life had been majorly changed! We ordered 2 of the Apple pastry to share between all of us. At the bottom was a vanilla meringue with some sort of gel. I did some research, and a few drop of omija gel was put with the creamy, foamy meringue. Underneath the Baked apple pastry was Sujeonggwa ice cream. And then the plate was beautifully decorated with Jasmin flowers and Green tea tuile. It looked awesome and tasted like heaven
I can’t wait to visit my new favourite restaurant with my family again.
This morning (at 11:30 am) my sister and I woke up and we made Acai bowls! The day before, we bought a few packs of frozen fruit and Acai blocks. On the back of the pack it has a recipe on how to make this delicious berry bowl and I am going to teach you too! Before we go onto the recipe I should tell you that… I would definitely rate this a “Yum”. I will also give you tips on how to actually make it taste nicer than how we made it. The recipe is in the las photo!
Tips:
1. If it is not blending properly, the recipe says to add water, but add ice instead to not make it liquidy.
2. Don’t put to many frozen pineapples as it has a really overpowering flavour. (If you add in to many frozen pineapples, maybe add extra frozen bananas or other frozen fruits).
Today, I was really craving some sweet food, so why not make a cake in a mug! I found a ‘healthier’ recipe on this dessert, but was it really? Well, there isn’t THAT much sugar, but you can always use substitutes instead. This is really fun to make, and it is not messy at all. So the kids wanting to cook without their parents finding out, this IS the recipe you should choose, although your parents might smell the deliciousness. I would rate this recipe an “Umm” because it was a bit rubbery and a bit raw (thank goodness it doesn’t include any egg in this recipe.) I reckon the rawness was because my microwave settings weren’t proper. BUT it was delicious, it had an awesome sweet smell and I really did like the taste of the Vanilla blueberry mug cake.
In this desert, instead of using any of the other “variations”it suggested on the website, I decided to add my own “variations” by putting in juicy blueberries which made the cake have a sweet and sour taste, which I really liked, but the ingredient choice is up to you.
A tip is to use a smaller mug as the cake will only rise to half way. Have fun!

Tomorrow is our wedding day. After nearly 7 years of love. I just wanted to show y’all our cake. I went with chocolate which isn’t traditional but idgaf and a cream cheese icing. It’s not huge, as we only invited about 40 people. I’m very excited.
Today, I went to two different cafes! My sister was craving an Acai smoothie so we walked to a different cafe to get one.
The first cafe I ordered French Toast. Don’t judge me, this was my first time trying French toast, and I am so glad I did try it! This dish included Fairy floss (cool right?), fruit, maple syrup, seasonal fruit gel, mascarpone cream and maple bacon. All of these elements really made a delicious breakfast. This sounds so weird but it was quite light, well it filled me up but it wasn’t sickening or heavy. Surprisingly, I have never tried maple bacon, and again, it was freaking awesome! I have actually tried fairy floss, but I have never tried something a smooth and soft as that, my cousin ordered the same meal, and she thinks that it is the dragons beard (She is obsessed with Buzzfeed and Tasty). I will never forget this meal, we are actually going to eat at the same place tomorrow, so I really want to get French toast again. I would rate this a definite “Yum”.
We walked up to another cafe just to satisfy my sister! We all ordered an Acai smoothie, it tasted really fresh, but I would have to rate this an “Umm” because it wasn’t that nice, but it was refreshing.
Recently, I made baked donuts! They were freaking awesome! I made them with my friend who is allergic to eggs, so we made egg free donuts. We made two types, cinnamon and dark chocolate covered donuts.
With the cinnamon donuts we added a bit of cinnamon into the actual batter, but with the chocolate we didn’t. You do need equipment to make this (donut shaped trays) but besides that is is really easy and fun to make. Plus, it is (totally) healthy since we don’t need to deep fry the donuts, but bake them instead! (I am going to consider this healthy, excluding the fact that a lot of sugar is in this recipe). I am rating this recipe a “Yum”, since it was very easy and to make and it is delicious. You can also easily alter the recipe without ruining the final outcome! Like what we did with the chocolate donuts.

For the chocolate, we melted chocolate and just dipped the donuts in.
For the cinnamon donuts we made our own cinnamon sugar, but you can use pre-made cinnamon sugar.

Lets get this give-away underway!
Today, my family and I went and ate at a mediocre cafe. Although my food was delicious, my family thought that there choices weren’t as appetising. Overall, I think the cafe was an “Umm”, because the service was good, yet the food came out half an hour after we ordered. (We were really impatient since we were very hungry, or should I say “Hangry”). I ordered a meal called “The Breakfast Burger”. I would rate it a “Yum”. My orange juice was also, normal? I guess, it tasted like orange juice, which is good. I really enjoyed my meal and when I go back I will probably, most definitely order the same meal!
Today I went to a delicious cafe for breakfast. I ordered the “Bacon and Egg Roll” and the ”Mixed Berry smoothie”. This roll included bacon, double egg, with house made tomato relish and aioli. This was absolutely delicious. When I took my first bite, the egg just melted in my mouth and the crispy bacon added some crunchy flavour. The tomato relish made it sweeter, but the aioli contrasted with that, and made it taste more garlicky. I couldn’t identify what the taste was properly, but from memory, it was a “Yum”!
The mixed berry smoothie tasted like, mixed berry yogurt. When I first took a sip, I could taste all of the berries. But, when you adventure through the rest of the smoothie you realise that it just tastes like yogurt. I would have to rate this as a “Umm”
My rating system
I know this sounds weird, but I have a system to rate foods. It is called the “Yum, Umm or Bum”. It is quite self explanatory. “Yum” is DELICIOUS and I would definitely order again. “Umm” means this dish was OK but I won’t order this again, and “Bum” is it was terrible and I will never order that again.
